Hey guys, josh griffin, air serving the middle peninsula in the northern neck were actually installing a dishwasher today in a home that the old one has started leaking and so we're actually replacing that right now, if you want to get a shot, I got it but um. I just wanted to go through a couple tips with garbage, disposals and dishwashers things that I've had homeowners actually say man. I wish somebody would have told me that, or or maybe my spouse used to take care of all that and they're not around you know anymore or something and now you're having to do. I take care of some of the stuff.

You've never had to take care of before one tip is just like anything: that's metal, um, dishwashers in action or I'm sorry. Garbage disposals can actually corrode just like anything else with metal they'll rust on the inside they'll corrode all that stuff. So i would say, regardless of whether or not you're putting anything down them, i would say take that thing one once a week once a month, at least just to you know, even if it's for a couple seconds to kind of break those teeth, loose and it'll Drain a club a lot better. Another thing is: if it's starting to have somewhat of an odor you're starting to smell some smells in your garbage disposal, you can actually put a lemon pill or orange peels down them and just make sure you run the water when you turn it on, but that'll Make that thing smell a whole lot better and then the last thing with that is probably once a month.

I would take a scoop of ice, even if you're uh, you know not putting a whole lot down it. I would take a cup of ice and put it down your garbage disposal and kick that thing one, and what that does is that will sharpen the teeth? It will clean everything out real good, so it dreams a lot better. Last tip I'll say about dishwashers, and I just had a lady, the other day say man. No one's ever told me that is dishwashers, have a porch right beside where you put your detergent.

That is made for jet dry, where cascade has their own brand called rinse aid, but you can get you know just about any brand and put it in there, but you want to fill that up once a month and that'll keep your. You know. This is looking spotless come, it actually conditions the water um, but make sure you're doing that. I think you'll see a difference and how well your dishes come out of the dish.
