Thank you: hey guys, joshua griffin, air serving the middle peninsula and the northern neck of virginia, and i wanted to do a video on the t6 thermostat. I've got a box right here and i did a video where we actually put this on the wall so check that out. If you uh, you know we're actually installing it and setting it up and in this video i just wanted to show you how to set the date and time now.

This is one of the newer t6's where it's got the touch screen, whereas when the t6's first came out, they had buttons, just like the t4s in fact cosmetically. There wasn't a lot of difference between the t6 and t4s uh. There was a few upgrades internally, but externally they basically look like the same thermostat. So we've got this thermostat, i'm just going to show you.

I just hit the done button, and now i'm kind of at this, what i would call the home screen. It's got the uh, you know the thermostat showing and with the temperature and all that good stuff, and so what we're going to do is we're going gon na hit the menu button and then we're gon na scroll. Until we see date, okay, so and then you just hit select and you set your date using the plus and minuses to change the number and then, when you're done, you can either you just you just tap on which one you want to do so like. If i'm doing the middle, when i tap there, if i want to do the date i tap over here and then once you're done with all that the time pops up for you to be able to set that and again it's plus and minus, when you're done, You hit the select button and it saves it.

So they've come a little ways on these. When the t6s first came out the date and time every time the power went out would actually clear on the thermostat, which is uh kind of annoying, because especially if you're not home, it's been cold all day and then you come home and the unit has been Turned off because the power went out or something, and so it's really cold in your house, so they've come a little ways with that and that's definitely a good thing, and i hope that helps.
