As a special thank you to you guys for taking the time to watch this video when I arranged for Vito to send me the bag to do a review on. I also asked them if they could send me an extra bag, that I could do a giveaway on okay, so they were very cool about that and they went and sent me a video in B bag. Alright, today we were going to be talking about the veto. Tech MC veto sent me this bag to do a review on.
I was kind of curious about this bag. What I'm using it for I've been, I should preface by saying I've been using this for about two weeks and what I use it for is my troubleshooting bag. Okay, so this is not my everyday carry. I use this.
If I know I'm only gon na need a few tools or, if I'm just going up to diagnose okay. So just to give you guys some perspective. The tech MCS in the middle compared to my everyday carry, which is the tech pack, which I can pretty much fit my entire van into and my previous troubleshooting bag, which was the MB to absolutely nothing wrong with the MB. I just wanted a little bit more space and I still will use the MB for a couple other things, but the tech MC.
You can see the size. You know as far as height wise, it's about half the size of the tech pack and it's as far as height wise. It's just a little bit shorter than the MB, but it obviously has two compartments on each side and can hold a lot more than the MB okay. So the tech MC is a nice heavy-duty veto bag.
Exactly what you'd expect veto to make it kind of feels a little bit heavy, which you understand. That's what the veto bags are they're, high-quality they're, not so concerned about weight, they're concerned about longevity and ruggedness okay, so this bag is very rugged. I feel like. I could drop this from a moving car.
Nothing would happen to it. It would just tumble down the road, don't see any problems with that. As far as the outside of the bag goes, you have a shoulder, strap, I will say. The one thing I do think is that the shoulder strap should have some kind of a method of holding it up, because in the restaurant work that I do, you know those bags drop on the floor and the floors can be wet.
So that is one thing I will say that I don't like about the bag. Is that there's nothing that keeps the strap okay, you know, of course you can tuck it in the zippers and different things, but you know I'd prefer something to strap it similar to what you can get on there bigger bags which I'll show you right now. So if you can see on the tech XL, which is one of their biggest bags, they make - or I should say, used to be one of their biggest bags. They have some giant ones now, but it's the biggest one that I own on the tech XL.
They listen to us many years ago. I've had this bag for a very long time. They listened to us and came up with a solution for the strap and that on this strap right here they put a hook. Okay, simple, as that the hook sits right up in this top piece right here, slides into there. I really like that really like that, because it keeps my strap off the ground, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't do something along those sorts on the tech MC. But I will say you know: the tech MC is a lower cost bag, so I can imagine they were trying to save some pennies. You know to keep the bag cheaper for us again. My assumption don't know if that was the real cost or the real reason, but you know I guess it's to be expected in the smaller low cost bags.
Okay, so now that we've gotten past the strap, they have a very very nice heavy-duty handle on this bag and, as always, there's if our extremely high quality, you need to make sure you're, maintaining these zippers and oiling and them properly to make sure that they have A long life and don't overload the bags okay, because when you overload them and try to zip them up, that's when the zippers separate and cause a problem. Okay, I have had problems with that in the past when I overloaded my bags, but I've since learned and realized what was going on there. Okay, so on this side of the bag, we have a nice little zipper pocket here that I've been keeping my electrical jumpers in okay. It's got quite a bit of space, so you can shove some stuff in there.
You know. If you wanted to, you could keep wire nuts and screws and different things, but, like I said, I just keep my electrical jumpers in there. So for me this is just a troubleshooting bag. We'll go ahead and open.
It up. Show you this side of the bag. This side of the bag, because this is my troubleshooting bag. What I actually keep inside here is my field piece, JobLink, probes, okay, so I'm able to keep my extra charging hose, keep my tablet for my field piece stuff, and then I've got my pressure, probes, temperature, probes and my clamps.
So I can keep all that in there and then some if I need it as we flip the bag around you'll notice, we have the typical accessory pouches on the side right here where you can keep screwdrivers and different things. I honestly wouldn't think it'd be really good to keep anything tall inside there, because you will end up losing it when you're going up ladders and different things like that, but as far as uh, you know, drill extensions and different things. I think they'd work great in there. Maybe you could keep a service wrench in here electrical tape, holder, obviously, on this side now this side of the bag.
They also have a tape measure holder on this side and some pockets that are a little bit bigger. I personally don't utilize those okay, so we've got a nice little pouch right here where I keep rubber gloves and some sand cloth to sand the surfaces for the field piece, clamps, okay, obviously, as all the other video bags have you've got some accessory hooks right here. You can hang all kinds of stuff on if you wanted to. Okay as we open up the bag.
This side - I just keep - you know the little bit of tools and again this is just my troubleshooting bag. Okay, so I've got a meter inside here. Those zip ties just smack me in the face. You know all my basic stuff, some channel locks, some needlenose pliers, some dikes Crescent wrenches wire strippers service, wrench, terry cloth or towel. So it's just a basic troubleshooting bag. I really like this bag. I think it's held up very well. The only complaint I have is the strap just not being able to hang the strap on anything but other than that.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this bag. It's exactly what I wanted it to be, I'm extremely happy about it. It has the signature hard bottom, just like any other veto bag. You guys.
I really think this is worth your while. I suggest you guys consider purchasing this bag if it seems like it would work for you. You know: we've got a nice little pouch up in there, where we can keep some other things. It's nice and tight fits in any corner on your van really so for a troubleshooting bag and, for you know, a bag that you used it.
You know just pack lightly in I think it's awesome as a special thank you to you guys for taking the time to watch this video when I arranged for Vito to send me the bag to do a review on. I also asked them if they could send me an extra bag, that I could do a giveaway on okay, so they were very cool about that and they went and sent me a veto in B bag. Okay, if you don't already know these veto in B bags are very, very versatile. I use them for all kinds of different parts and different things.
The main use I have for one of these right now is: I keep all my men, my nitrogen regulators and different refrigerant hose adapters inside of one. So that way, when I go up onto a job, I can take everything up with me and do it all at once. You know and have all my stuff inside there. I have used these as troubleshooting bags.
In the past too, you can fit a meter in there. Just can't be a very tall one. You can fit screwdrivers all kinds of extra stuff inside there. So what we're gon na do is we're gon na go ahead and do a giveaway and what I'm gon na do is basically two days after the video is released, I'm gon na in the giveaway, so everybody that puts a comment doesn't matter what the comment is.
You can put anything inside there one letter, I don't care, just put a comment on this video, okay and I will select a random person. That's in the comments two days after I upload this video and I'll go ahead and ship this bag to you. Compliments of Vito okay.
The very first bag veto made was the xl and it has the velcro to hold the strap so I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that wasn't from a suggestion from anyone. The handle will not allow a clip or velcro to hold the strap on the smaller bags and that is why there isn't one.
Hey Chris just found this video. Wanted to point out if someone hasn't already. There is a little D ring on the strap its self . It is positioned perfectly to clip into the clips that hold the bag itself. Keeping the strap off the ground.👍
Did you ever give away the bag ?
Does the MC come with the shoulder strap or is that a separate purchase?

Veto bags for the win!
Oh man! That bag is just what I need for, like you said, those rooftop diagnostic jobs. Lately I’ve been using a bucket and roping it to the roof whether it’s diagnostic or repair. The bucket gives me a seat to work off of as my knees are shot from those burners that sit about six inches up from the roof/floor. I’ll be sure to watch at 5:00 pm pst.
Love veto!!! Good review!!
I’m interested in the giveaway.
Thanks
