Hey everyone welcome to swimuniversity.com. My name is matt javanese and today i'm going to show you how to add chemicals to your hot tub the right way. Now what you want to do is make sure that your hot tub is running, but you want all the air turned off so just make sure you go around and turn all of the air bubbles off into the spa. Now, when you're ready make sure you have your chemical and pre-fill out how much chlorine or alkalinity or ph that you need in your tub for now we're just going to put in a little cap full again make sure that your spa is running before you do This and then toss it sprinkle it around.
So after you add the chemicals to your hot tub, keep the jets running for about 15 minutes and leave the cover off the hot tub as it's running and that's all you need to do to add chemicals to your hot tub correctly for more information. Please visit our website swimuniversity.com, you.
we bought a used hot tub. everything is in place and we are waiting on our electrician. I thought he was coming one day and now it may be 2 or 3 days later. I filled the tub already, but now the water is turning green. Can I put in chemicals even if I don't have electricity yet, or should I just drain it and start over?
