Hey Corey hello otherwise known as bad TXV let's check the switcher here. Oh look at there it works nice. So uh yeah, Ahr 2023 in uh Atlanta A lot of people say hotlanta but it's not. No, it's not.

But it is great to be here is it is good to be here? This is my first time actually being at Ahr so really? Ever? Yeah, not even Orlando in the past? Nope, nope, never. Um, so it's definitely an experience and I'm excited to meet all the different vendors out there and kind of network a bit and check out what's new. Yeah, so tonight you're going to be presenting an award I am at the HVAC tactical Awards Yep, yeah, I'll be presenting the Hidden Gem award. Okay, which is what I won last year actually.

um, what? you won with your Channel yeah? before my I'm asking you to yeah, yeah. appreciate it. Yeah, no. um for my uh Tick Tock channel Uh bad.

TXV give it a like uh, but yeah, just it's an award to recognize uh, content creators and people who do a lot of things in the industry that might not have the mainstream following or the amount of followers. Uh, but that doesn't necessarily mean you know their quality of content or anything is any any less. So it's just a it's a nice word. Uh, recognize those people Yes.

And in this case you last year last year, someone else do you know who? what number? No, it's it right. it's I don't even know I'm presenting it I'm not even gonna open the thing and the things. it's official. Yeah, it's official Black Tie yeah Black Tie tell me about that.

I mean that's good to go buy a suit. We're gonna have a lot of different, uh, probably you know, 100 plus people in the trades and they're all going to be in dressed up in nice suits and tuxedos and what have you? So that's going to be an experience too. Alone, you know? probably the complete opposite of what we would normally be wearing every day. uh Cameron says uh to braise with nitrogen So just just making sure you know that you know maybe I don't I've always tried to light it I can never get it to light Yeah, she's never never lights.

Um, all right so tell me tell us a little bit about your channel. So um, my channel on Tick Tock I'm also on Instagram at official bad TXV okay uh, why was the other was the other bad? TXU it was actually okay. all right and uh I even tried to I believe I tried to message the guy way back when and never got back to me. So but anyways, yeah I stole my brand bro.

Yeah, exactly yeah. so yeah. Tick Tock uh at bad Zxv I do uh short one to three minute videos on anything and everything commercial, air conditioning and Supermarket Refrigeration related. So I do it all.

Most the majority vast majority of my videos are not planned. They're not staged, so it's usually service calls I'm on or just weird things that I end up finding or thinking about right then and there while I'm on a job so it's real world examples. It's good stuff though. Yeah, it's a little something for everybody.

even residential guys. So yeah, like you said that, even residential guys. Well, I'm sorry, even those low, lowly residential guys. something.
There's no beef with residential. Okay, um, no. but I do have uh, some good things you know for those who just like general knowledge about anything. Yeah, well.

all right. so this is. uh. now that I think about it, this is an opportunity for you to talk about a video that you did in collaboration with HVAC school that should be coming out here in a matter of days.

Are we going to announce it? Yeah. I Think we can announce it here. All right, that's a big announcement. Okay, yeah, we will be having a 3D video of the basic working principles of a refrigeration system Pump down refrigeration system.

So uh, nice. 3D animation of the walk-in refrigeration cycle cutaways of things Uh, pressure control, pressure controls, setting them. This is all in one video. This is a all-in-one great beginners introductions.

Probably got 200 pages of a textbook worth of information inside of this video. There's a lot. uh, and narrated by Yours Truly here. So yeah, yeah, so your first your first fully.

There's a lot of noise going on around here. Oh, it's a setup day. It's update I didn't just rip one? Yeah, this is behind the scenes. Yeah, this is yeah behind the scenes stuff.

Um yeah, so that's gonna be cool. That was fun to to do that with you. Um, Corey's going to be sharing some, uh, some portions of it on his channel and then we're also going to have it on the HVAC School Channel If you've seen the 3D animation videos that we do, um, we we get really detailed with them and so this is the first time that we're doing one that's specifically Refrigeration But it really helps your kind of air conditioning technicians who don't understand the basic control strategy of a typical kind of small refrigeration system. Yeah, when I was when I was in air conditioning.

uh, that was one of my biggest things to wrap my head around. was just the differences in refrigeration because their process is completely different. So yeah, very excited for that. Yeah, really cool.

Um, so just talk about this a little bit because like you're kind of walking around this space. First time you've ever been here. Um, so just give the experience of somebody and again, the show's not live yet. We're just in setup mode.

See all these vendors going around, but kind of give your your take on on what you've been seeing so far. Three keywords: They're Massive. Massive. Massive.

All three of these masses. Yeah! I uh I don't know what I was gonna what I was expecting when I came here I knew it was going to be big I've seen I've seen the ads. you know some of the videos that other people have posted and it looks big. Um but you know they say looks can be deceiving I guess but no when here in Atlanta um I Can't speak for Vegas or anything.
but uh, anybody and everybody is here pretty much I mean I just getting to the booth, it's like you could be right. like your feet hurt. Yeah yeah, you're walking a half a mile. So yeah, if you come to Ahr bring your bring your tennis shoes.

Yeah there is something for everybody here and a lot of different people to meet. so I'm extremely excited for that. Yeah, we already. you already had a friend come up and say hi.

Yeah yeah, good stuff, good stuff. Yeah so uh for anybody who, uh, still is kind of on the fence if you want to come and you know we've got three days, three days left. Um today. Like I said, it's not even open yet.

So starting at I think 10 a.m Tomorrow, 10 a.m tomorrow show opens, it goes from 10 to 6 on Monday and Tuesday and then goes from 10 to 5 for four. Yeah, ten to five or four. Yeah, we're gonna plan four or five. Yeah.

so uh. podcast Pavilion Um, that's kind of on the other side. we're here on the B side. um I should say our booth number Booth 40 if you go on the 4500 row C4 B Four five two nine four five two nine.

Um, you can come visit us. This is just kind of a hangout spot. Um, tomorrow? or yeah, tomorrow Monday Morning we're gonna have um, after our class uh Dirk Norman and I are doing a class on electrical Basics tomorrow morning at 8 A.M Once we get done with that, we're coming right over here and we're going to be doing a bunch of Hands-On on HVAC simulator If you haven't had a chance to check that out, it's actually a physical kind of Diagnostics training tool. So if you if you have a chance after the class to come on over uh and do that, that would be great.

but there's a lot of stuff going on in the podcast Pavilion which is over on the seaside. um, not on, not on the seaside Seas anyway um, there's no sea in Atlanta Yeah, there's no ocean some Lakes but uh yeah. anyway. so uh so tonight.

HVAC Tactical though. I think I think that's probably sold out, but um, but you do you know when that's when that's going on from I Imagine it's uh oh man, what time is it? Right now? it's uh, three. So eight the doors open at 5? 00 PM Yep, so uh, if there are tickets available uh HVAC tactile his website uh and go check it out. I'm not sure if they are or not, but yeah, doors open five and award ceremony.

You can also buy live stream tickets though too if you don't content. So okay, that's cool. Yeah yeah, Hvc tactical. He does a good job with that.

It's a lot of fun. Um I will not be making it this evening because I'm going to the diversitech thing at the aquarium. um I'm I'm better off with fish than I am with people so that's all good. But anyway, yeah everybody, uh, everybody who I guess I didn't give a shout out Jessica's here um Joe Shearer is here good old Joe Joe we missed you at the Symposium uh, it was.

wasn't the same without you. um I didn't have anyone to make as much fun of, but it's all good. All right. Corey Well thanks.
