Hey Pool Owners What happens if you open your pool too early? Opening your pool early isn't a Bad Thing Once Daytime temperatures hit 70 degrees Fahrenheit or 21 degrees Celsius Algae can start to grow under your pool cover. The sooner you open your pool, the less chances you'll have to clean up an algae bloom later. But you'll have to start your regular pool maintenance routine like brushing and adding chemicals. So what happens if you do experience a surprising drop in temperatures after you've already opened your pool? We'll just leave the pump running and reinstall your pool cover until the weather warms up.
