Don't Close Your Pool without adding this chemical. Once you've cleaned your pool surfaces and balanced your water, it's time to add some algaecide. This will stop algae from growing over the winter. While your pool is closed, look for a 60 poly spot algaecide, especially if you have a mesh cover.
