PayPal Owners Have you ever heard of a liquid solar cover for your pool? It's a chemical you add to your water that creates a molecular level of insulation. Liquid solar covers help to prevent water and chemicals from evaporating and prevent your water from losing. Heat at night and it won't affect your water chemistry, but while a liquid solar cover is easier to use than a solar blanket, it's not as effective. Follow us at swim! Hey Swim University, I have a cartridge filter & skimmer for my above ground pool. Whrn the filter is running, would the cartridge filter just absorb the layer of liquid solar cover, rendering it useless? Or would it still function properly even with the filter running? Advice would be appreciated ❤

This type product came out in the late 90's.
I didn't see any tangible results. I think it originally was alcohol based, but now is propane. Hopefully works more effectively.
I'd like to see some data on that. It runs about $30-$40 a quart ($120-$160 a gallon)
Reviews I've read were very mixed.

I mean, it's arguably more effective, because people might actually use it, lol
