Well, Josh Someone's condemned my system. What's going on? You know, what's the big deal and what's the overall reason Someone would condemn a system and usually it's got to do with safety issues I Remember years ago seeing where the city would come in and red tag certain appliances and it was almost their way of saying do Not Run this system until certain things are taken care of. It's a huge safety issue and they would shut the system down and red tag it. And so a lot of heating and air technicians where I see it the most is if there is a problem like a cracked heat EX Cher For example or some other reason that carbon monoxide or some other safety related problem could be going in the home or something like that, then they will condemn condemn a system.
For homeowners, what is the considered maximum safe CO percentage or measurement ? CO detectors I believe allow up to 70 ppm before they alarm. Are you in Nepean ?
The local energy company here in Maryland had a habit of condemning gas fumisses and then 1 day later there HVAC wing would swing by and get the job to replace the furnace. They used to have the same name as the electricity company. Now they have changed names to do away with the appearance of unfair competition. Those Big companies play dirty and that is a prime example.
