The little noticed veto by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signals his likely rejection of more than 346 million dollars in federal money for direct-to-consumer rebates for residential building upgrades including the installation of high Efficiency electric HVAC equipment and I think more specifically what this article is referencing is the Inflation Reduction Act and a lot of the money that came with that. So I know a lot of you have commented on our videos have even emailed us asking us questions maybe you've asked your local HVAC text I Got to tell you I've heard so many different things as far as this goes. I've heard folks saying oh, it's in effect I Read this article and it says that the inflation reduction Act is currently in effect and you can take advantage of it. but then I'll receive a comment the very next day from one of you saying that you know I tried to get it or I tried to apply or whatever you tried to do and it's not into effect yet.

Bad things happen when the government gets involved. DeSantis is making the right call.
And no, it’s not in effect. The federal 2k worth credit is in effect. The larger up front rebates were passed to the states to decide how to administer which most have not set guidelines yet. The states haven’t figured out yet how to line their coffers with it yet 🤷🏻♂️ Service area Orleans??
The public still get rebates, that money is what the state would get for administering those programs.
I'm fine with that! The government shouldn't be funding residential building upgrades!! Same goes for electric car rebates. If these technologies are really so great people will pay for them!
