Are these temperature mandates coming to the United States?

Spain Came out with some mandates that they're basically saying in public places the thermostat cannot be set below 27 degrees Celsius so it has to be set at or above 27 degrees Celsius Now if you don't know.
80.6 F for those of us who don't eat Mushed Peas.
๐ Service area Kanata??
I might add…81 degrees is a little warm for summer relief and for those who are actively working
That is so funny. Here in the USA, decades back the "authorities" were suggesting that thermostats be set on 78 in summer and 68 in winter however, when you visit a Government building, local city hall, building department, library, court house etc., the temps are well into the 70 degree mark in summer. Currently, this is the norm from our experience, cold inside public buildings and most of them are big buildings so, think about the added electricity used to get them that cold. I would agree not to move the thermostat during the evening time as the energy used to get the temps back down from being at 80 something uses more power than leaving it set at say 76 full time.
Wow!๐ฎ
