Humidity control affects more than just the air quality. it actually affects your comfort as well. So if you imagine a really cool home, but it's high humidity, it can kind of feel clammy right? Or it can feel warmer than it actually is. You might have a home that's 72 degrees with high humidity, and it might feel much warmer than a house that's drier air and 72 degrees.
So humidity does affect your comfort, but humidity also affects other things. So when you have a more humid home, you invite the possibility of things like mold or mildew being able to grow in your home. If you have the air too dry in your home, then you invite the possibility of the drier air causing other issues. And we did a video where we talked about the humidity control chart where you want to be kind of in that range between 30 and 50 percent.
