What the heck is that? Someone broke the drain pan and decided to use some sort of a putty right there and some duct tape That's unacceptable and not food safe and toxic because the glues and different things in that duct tape are not meant to be consumed by humans. And it's on the inside too. That is ridiculous. I Have a new drain pan.
I'm going to put on this guy today. like I Don't understand how you get to this level of dumb dumbness? Just shut the machine down and get a new drain pen. It's cracked all the way down into the bottom too. They had duct tape on both sides.
That's nuts.
There are some epoxy putty blends that are NSF and food sare rated. But the duck tape definitely not
Previous management couldn't afford a full repair, or they were trying to repair it using their handyman……
I would comment but I would offend large swathes of people.
Regulations. Are for people who have a brain. Whoever approved that “repair” should be fired. Service area Kanata??
Ahh Duct tape. Good for more than taping a mouth shut.
Uhmmm the contents off the drain pan is not for consuming look al that crap floting in it and its not seald so i doubt its evver comming in contackt whit the actual ice ( its more like an coolling liquid or drain pan for the condensor coil that is not comming in contackt whit the food 🤔

Good on you for being extra safe. But was that water ever going to be consumed by humans? From the trough?
