Do you keep getting hot tub error codes? Well, here are three common error codes and how to troubleshoot them. Number one is Flo or FLC. This means water isn't flowing or your jets aren't working. Check for any blockages in your skimmer and clean.
Or replace your filter and check to see whether your circulation pump has power going to it. It could also mean that your pressure switch needs to be replaced. Its job is to shut off the heater when the water pressure is low. Number two is O.
This means that your water is overheated and unsafe to use. If your hot tub is outside and you've had hot weather, be sure that your spa cabinet is staying cool enough to avoid overheating the motor. Also, make sure that your pump isn't running for extremely long periods of time. Finally, check and replace the temperature sensor if needed, especially if the water isn't actually overheated.
But you're getting this error code. Number three is Dr or Dr. If not enough water is traveling through the heater when it kicks on, your heater element can get damaged. Topping off your hot tub may be the only solution necessary.
