Hiring is such a difficult process in 2024.
Then in addition to that, when you have bad attitudes and entitled people and I think that old folks have a legitimate argument to bash Our Generation and even the youngest generation at this point I had a hard time finding good he.
I don’t like the direction the industry has been going in actuality. The master apprentice relationship is just lip service. It doesn’t exist. You get a bit of training but have to YouTube things in the crawl space and attic. You have to pretend you know what you are talking about when you don’t and when literally no one does.
You have to pretend that the equipment you sell is good when none of it is. I mean everything is rushed to market or the manufacturer is going under because of losing market share. Stuff I wouldn’t want my loved ones buying. Everything is such garbage today. We have the ability to make things that last more than 10 to 20 years. We have the ability to make things that are so much easier to work on.
And then how houses are constructed and how the mechanical components fit into the plumbing and the electric it’s just sad that things are built in such a way as to not be very user-friendly, so you just have to feel stressed all the time too hot or too cold or forced into weird posture condition so that you go from call to call to call just miserable.
I just get sick with how the collective human being is so wasteful and inconsiderate and stupid to itself.
💯%…… YES, It is hard to find people within the younger generation that have responsible work ethics, integrity, discipline, reliability. ⚠️
a lot of places don't even drug test anymore because it's impossible to find people that can pass it, downside is they DO drug test you when you have a workplace accident
Entitled old folks. Wage theft is the largest form of theft in America. Employers have felt so entitled they stopped posting pay rates in job listings. Greedy boomers need to go away forever, the sooner the better. Are you in Barrhaven ?
