All right guys! Fourth Annual Symposium There's some awesome stuff out here that we're showing off Andrew needs no introduction. You guys all know him. YouTube Star here and uh, you brought something pretty awesome here that I haven't seen before. I did I Did you guys are getting the real kind of sneak peek here in person? the NTB 7l This is kind of like the the final part to the trilogy here.

Yeah of the last few years of uh, Navax battery operated tools, have you guys seen the trilogy? By the way, have you seen what has like everybody is raving about and using I'm assuming if you don't know this, you don't know HVAC You don't care about your life, You don't care about enjoying your job if you don't have these tools. Who took the words out of my mouth, right? right? So you know. Starting with battery operated flaring, this really changed the game. For so many uh contractors that you know spend their time and you know, days doing uh, dockless equipment.

uh, really made it. It was a consistency issue too. Exactly. It gets it right every single time and you can't mess it up pretty much right.

That that was my favorite part about it is the first time I tried it. it was exactly the same as the 50th time I tried it. It was that easy to use. Absolutely absolutely.

We followed up the next year with a battery operated expansion for people that want to Swedge they want to make their own fittings. Uh, however, they were kind of limited couplings at that point. So this year with adding the Ntb7l this is the battery operated bending tool from Navac. Same battery cross platform.

this whole. uh, this whole line of tools runs off our little seven volt batteries here. So you get the uh your? your whole battery can bend copper up to seven eighths. Yeah, Wow.

So this thing will consistently. Bend 7 8 Tubing Okay, uh. you get about 100 bends out of a charge. Wow.

This thing goes on and on and on. Okay, uh, it uses a worm. Drive Uh, very very strong, very strong. Don't have your fingers near it or any other appendage when using the tool.

Be fully clothed. You know what I mean Yeah, yeah, so uh, but I'm sure everyone doesn't want to hear me just talk so we can, uh, give it a little show. Yeah, you do this well. I can do it and then maybe you do the reverse Bend Okay, let's try that tool.

also has a reverse bending attachment. Okay, that's been the burning question for everybody. Um, is can we reverse Bend with it? Can I actually make an S Because that's that's the status quo right? At this point, everybody that has a ratcheting style Bender does have that attachment available as well. So we're gonna go right for the big guns.

We'll go right with our 7 8 tubing. Okay, I'm not going to do a demonstration with 3 8 and then tell you to go buy it. Okay, right? All right, we go ahead. and one T-bar One T-bar for all sizes quarter inch to seven eighths instead of several.

We got the one. The only thing that may change is you may move these guides in Okay, and there's a guide right here that tells you you know if you're doing 3 8 copper, you're gonna have to turn these knobs, loosen this, and then slide it in right for a tighter 90. Correct, Yeah, So we're gonna line up our notches. They self-click into 7 8.
we're gonna slip our copper in there. make sure the tool is on. We're gonna roll our Bend here I Challenge anybody watching this to show a video of them reliably and consistently being able to hand ratchet Bend 7 8 tubing by themselves with one arm. Okay, and if they can do it once, I'll you know I'll tell Bert to send you a I don't know 20.

What are you going to send them I don't know I'm not my 20. Oh okay, this is all on you. So anyway, we've made our 90 degree Bend with the 7 8 tubing. nice.

When I back out a little little uh, kind of fun thing Here is this little plate. This is our we're calling it our ejector plate and when you back this out out for us, right? isn't that? Oh, that's just isn't that cute. There's just yeah, there's no reason other than to make our jobs easier. Hey, sometimes you know we try to think of all the little details.

You know, sometimes when you do those bigger sizes right, this gets jammed in there pretty good. Yeah, and it's kind of a pain in the butt to wrap. Wrap it out now. I Don't know how well the camera's zoomed in, but you can see we're pretty smooth too.

You know? Another thing you see a lot is these ridges that kind of wrinkle up when you do that right. We've we've really mitigated that and made this, uh, something special. You take this, you hit it. Give it a little bit of a D Burr Oh, look at you just going right at it.

You've been practicing right now yesterday or something. What is this? Look at that pot? that expensive pile of demo copper? What are we gonna do with that? We're gonna give that to Kalos Oh yeah. donate to Caleb Definitely. We're gonna use all of those little 90 bands like fittings.

Everything's gonna be so swept. Talos Is going to have the longest radius installs I'm gone. We've got our kind of one. push steel here.

Wow. right? So easy. Got that? It's just rude. that's the pile.

But yeah, you can kind of see where we this is coming together as an ecosystem of efficiency. So for the people that called the first one a luxury excessive. Etc Maybe for them. Maybe if they're not installing ductless day in, day out.

I would concur then that you know it may be a luxury. but for the people that are doing this kind of thing day in and day out, having a setup like this with the same battery platform on a job site, it's really gonna. That's great. It'll kind of be a force multiplier on their productivity.

Yeah. I Love it. So uh, where's the reverse Bender reverse bending attachment, right? Let me try this so it's not too bad of a conversion process. Once you kind of play around and do it a few times, you know you get the hang of it.
We take off our T-bar We take off our mandrel. got two pieces. You can see they're they're kind of Hefty you know they're Stout But if we want to be able to do the 7 8 and live up to what we're saying, yeah, it needs to be right. Okay, so we'll take these two pieces.

This will roll on to the the actual Drive rod. This plate will get right on the top of the tool. Mandrel pops on. Top This Time Boom We get our make sure we have our correct tubing, select it again I Love hearing that click.

It's just like it is satisfying. it is. There's so many little satisfying aspects of this. they're just about making you feel more mentally relaxed.

Well it's you know. Love this. Satisfying Clicks and little you know ASMR You know the fidgets and stuff. or like the stopper for your copper? Like that one just really messed me up.

You slide in there and it actually bottoms out. You just like tap that over for sure for sure. Well I got you set up here? Okay, all right, all right, the rest is on me. You looking good? Okay, all right.

I'm gonna go ahead and turn this on. You may still be on. Yep. Foreign? Sure.

because we're doing a reverse Bend that's the reverse. Bend Yeah, Boom. I Love it. That's awesome.

And you can tell it's reversed because when you hold this bent, it's the Op. See how? it's the opposite direction indeed. And yet they're different. When you pull it out you, you'll be able to tell the difference, right? But again, for those who don't know about reverse Benders right? This is for you know, configurations where you don't have the the space to make an inside band.

If you're outside on a tight Corner you're wrapping around a building, you're making a Bend hooking up to a condenser. This gives you the flexibility to stand on the outside and push your end, come up to the back side of that bend you need to make. Put it up there and you can still get your Bend in place. Exactly.

And we. And that's the the one concern when you see Bender tools? Is that what what happens when I'm in a little bit of a tight area? So definitely get your reverse Bend kit with this. That's awesome. Sweet man.

Absolutely thanks. And then you're showing off the usual here. But I got The Usual Suspects You know one thing that we we sell you know a lot of and people are aware of is just this kind of simple guy here. Okay, and uh, you know, Yes, it's considered to be a swaging tool to a degree, but it's uh, to me, it's not practical to you know, use it on a consistent basis, right? It's actually kind of a pain in the butt.

It actually is, kind of. and um, it's it's the opposite of the mental aspect. I was talking about enjoying your job and being happy about what you're doing. but it is.

This empowers you to work more painfully. So if we what I look at that as more of a service tool for a service technician? Yeah, uh, this is kind of a get out of jail card. It gets you out of a pinch, out of a bind. Um, you know, if you've got you know, tubing that's been matched, stepped on it inadvertently, you know that's what I tell people this is for being able to Wow! I've never seen somebody take care of damaged pipe restore it to its former glory.
Wow, look at that. Yeah, you found a good use for it. Yeah, good use for it. It makes sense.

The other thing is this replaces you having to keep a whole bunch of reducers bushings. yeah, uh. things like that to be able to adapt to different situations. So if you have components, you're changing dryers uh, you know, maybe even compressors.

Okay, um, and you you're a little bit off on the line set size to the intake side of that component. You can make things work if you need them to work. in a pinch. it's awesome.

You know it's not always ideal, but you know anybody who's really in service knows sometimes you got to do what you got to do exactly. You have those situations just you just celebrate on it with a bent coffee. I'm not opening the supply house at two in the morning to get me a you know, three-quarter wrap inch reducer. So uh, this will, uh, this will get you through.

Sweet. Absolutely well. Thanks that. Thanks for showing up and actually supporting what we do here and you guys fourth year in a row, we're not going to miss it.

Yep, I Know you guys care about all of us actually learning and improving the industry as a whole. so it's awesome. Hey thanks a lot. Appreciate you coming by man! Thanks for watching our video if you enjoyed it and got something out of it.

Does it do 45 degree? Or just 90. Is there a way to stop it at a certain angle?
