A lot of our customers have oil boilers, and/or water heaters and want to do a video on T and P valves. What is a TMP valve? I'm gon na try to put a picture of it right here. The T & P valve stands for temperature and pressure valve and what it is is basically a relief for your boiler or water heater.

What it'll do is it'll actually open and release pressure if the temperature or pressure is exceeded of the ratings that that T & P valve is rated for the reason that's important is because, if the T & P valve was to not operate correctly, you could actually Have a leak, a burst, pipe or worse, an explosion in your boiler. You should have your oil boiler or water heater maintained from time to time anyway, but this is something that you can check yourself go to your TMP valve and if it looks corroded if it's leaking or if someone god forbid, we've actually seen people cap or plug The tnp valves, if that you see that please call us right away if you have any questions, have any concerns give us a call at eight.
