Are you trying to find a good Dyan Comfort Pro or a Dyan dealer in your area and you're having trouble? When you go to the website, you put in your zip code and you're having trouble with that and so you've gone to Dyan Comfort.com You've put in your zip code and you're not seeing any contractors pop up. This could probably be said for Dyan's dealer locator, but really A lot of the brands out there. So if you're even if you're dealing with one of the other big Brands out there, if you're not seeing a dealer pop up for your ZIP code, there's normally a reason for that. And the reason is a lot of these companies will come to say a contractor like me and they'll say hey, we're going to put you on our dealer locator and we just need to have a list of say 20 or 30 zip codes that you want to show up for.

So when someone goes to the website and they put in their zip code, you would pop up for that. The problem is me I can tell you for my company, we probably service 80 to 100 ZIP codes. The county that I live in that's not even that big has like 20 or 30 zip codes just in that small little County And so that's where the problem lies. a lot of companies have to figure out.

Okay, what ZIP codes do I actually want to show up for? and I'm going to show you at least with Dyan's website a way around that a way that if you're on there you're looking for a Dyan dealer. We've had tons of folks comment on our videos. they they've seen me say something about a Dyan product and they say I want that product but I can't find any dealers in my area I went to the dealer loc I can't find any. We're going to show you in this video how to get around that, how to find them And so getting back to the scenario that I was telling you about.

when guys like me when the contractor has to select say 30 zip codes, they pick the ones that make the most sense right? So for me what I did was I picked the probably 20 that were close cl to us to our shop and then I took the next 10 and you know if I had 30 was my Max The next 10 were areas that I definitely wanted to show up in for one reason or another. Maybe it was a densely populated area? Maybe it was a more well-to-do area. They've got more mini splits or inverter systems that we specialize in. Maybe another area that I didn't want to show up in? Maybe they do something like oil furnaces more in that area and that's not something we do Reasons like that.

So let's dive into this here: I Am at Dyen Comfort.com that is Dyan's residential North American website so they have a ton of different websites. They're a huge company and they've got websites for all kinds of different things. But if you are a homeowner looking to purchase an HVAC system, this is the website you would go to. So Dyan Comfort.com This is kind of what it looks like and you would punch in your ZIP code right here.

Okay, and so I'm going to just punch in the zip code of where I grew up the area that I grew up which was 24485. Okay, that's the area. It's a very, very small town out in Virginia and that zip code I am betting no one is going to pop up in that area. So we're going to click the magnifying glass and I was right.

So this is a very desolate part of Virginia and there's just no contractors showing up on the dealer locator over here for the DCPS or even on the right for the Dyan Duckass specialist dealers. Okay, so sometimes you'll see contractors pop up on one side or the other depending on what they offer at their company. And so here's how you get around that here's no one popped up and now you want to know what do I do What you know where I go from this and if you look right down here in the bottom left, thank you to Mr site who it was a customer that I was helping on our new Hbac Guide.com website and he actually is the one that showed me this I was like wow I Had no idea that they had that extra feature and so again, if you go down here in the bottom left of the screen, you're going to click view all contractors. Okay, they've actually got a phone number there that you can call for more information, but we're going to click view all contractors and that's going to take you to this screen.

And so depending on where you're located here in Canada or up here here in United States you're going to click the state or the province that you are in. And so when we click that here for Virginia you see a whole list of companies. and so obviously this is the entire state. So there's going to be a whole number of contractors that pop up there.

Some won't be in your area, but this will be a way that if you are in an area that you know no one popped up or maybe only a couple popped up. Only a couple companies popped up for your ZIP code. But you want to look a little further and see if there's anyone else that might be in your coverage area in your area that could take care of you and you'll be able to scroll through this list. So depending on what state you're in, so then if we go over here to say California so if we click there, you know we we have all these companies in California that you can choose from.
