Here we had a service call on a Delfield Reach in Freezer that wasn't workingproperly. I found that the unit had a bad heater safety limit switch and some bad gaskets. I temporarily got the unit running and ordered the parts.

I do have a question. we have one that is a 2011, how long of life do you think on average does this brand last? are the parts hard to get?
Thanks for your video. A wonderful overview and I learned a lot
nice truobleshooting sir thumbs up
Love the rundown, thanks for showing.
YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!
Thank you sir. Very helpful Are you in Kanata ?
Can you include the limit switch testing procedure?
Good stuff Chris. Read the article on HVAC School, the video is linked.
Great video brother. I’m in the apprentice phase of my career right now this was extremely helpful. I literally just worked on one of these Delfields the other day.
The high limit switch(120v/240v) are same whatever use for freezer OR ice maker(not furnace)? thanks! Service area Nepean??
I do service those units too.
For someone who is in college studying the trade of HVAC/R tech, this video was very informative. Thank you.
Beautiful. Short and precise.
I am not a repairman, but earlier I was deicing our ancient Manitowoc F1 top mount single door freezer AGAIN! It was frozen inside. The repairman says nothing is wrong and it's been happening to others due to the humidity. It's very frustrating as I can't seem to find a competent repairman in my area. Something has to be wrong as I am doing this weekly or twice a week… low refrigerant or a timer issue? When I deice (to speed things up) I shut the unit down and use either a hair dryer or a heat gun at a safe distance. After that I take a CO2 tank to blow more water out. Then I take a Vornado fan and dry it out. I've had enough I think and today I think I will purchase a new True TS-23F-HC. I bought the same True a little over a year ago and so far so good. I have space restrictions (27" – 28" width) and another of the same True will fit with just a few inches to spare. I was thinking of getting the True or a similar Bev Air, left hinge door. Do you have any preference? Are most of today's units pretty much all the same crappy quality? Is there a big difference between Bev Air Vista and Horizon series? Thanks! Are you in Ottawa ?
you can tell that even without the experience factored in you have a natural aptitude for this stuff
Great video, Have 2 of these units that I'm just working on now, exact same issue. Thanks from Calgary, Alberta
Great 👍
Another badass execution 👍
Thanks again for the informative walk through on that service call! Was that an R290 ?
Good video!
You make the best videos man. Thanks
Great job. I like the step by step process and explanations. 👍
you make it look so easy, that would take me hours!
Thanks for the lesson again……
21!
I like this video format. Concise and to the point, very nice Are you in Barrhaven ?
As usual, very well explained and great job.
Wow. Concise and beneficial.
Thanks!
A+ on the editing, really helps a lot Service area Orleans??
Nice repair that cooler is almost identical to a bev air unit. The one thing I dis liked about the bev air is they would run the power leg to the compressor through the electronic controller. You can tell the controller can't handle the compressor current from the burnt terminals so we would instal a compressor contactor. Thanks for sharing……..
