Of course, leaving filters in the walkway is perfectly safe… Were you using them as snow shoes?
It's bad enough when it's just you, but when you're carrying tools or equipment that stuff can effectively become a weapon when it lands on or stabs you. Not to mention getting caught on something and ripping a long cut through clothing and flesh. Been there and don't want to go through that ordeal again. One time, a ladder was particularly slippery and I ended up sliding down the side of it all the way to the bottom…Not good. Service area Orleans??
O I've been there. Or should I say down on top of and then your clothes are wet?
Come to Toronto in the middle of a deep freeze, and do HVAC work. 😜😂
I've yard sales my tool bag a time or two on those roofs
100 yards from the roof hatch and you break your ankle, you’re in big trouble. Not to mention going down the ladder. Be extra careful on mall roofs. Rain too.
I work on a lot of Taco Bell’s they also have these style roofs I definitely fell a time or two when I first started Are you in Kanata ?
Yes you are correct haha I've busted by butt more than once 😳 Service area Ottawa??
I once drove 3 hours to an weekend breakdown to a roof chiller. The manager opened the roof, I started walking on the mats ,manager didn't ,broke his ankle. Chiller didn't get fixed,Fire service had to get him down. I got 9 hours at double time. It was summer as well.
How do you know?
Walk like a penguin 🐧
I have fun on that shit. Give a little run and slide
No footage of the fail?
On TPO roofs it should be required to have rubber mats too and all the way around all mechanical equipment.
TPO roofs without a parapet wall should be required to have something added to aid in gripping within 10 or 15 feet of the edge. Even water can be scary!
Que bien describes todo Chris, gracias saludos.
Ask me how do I know.
I do it 1000s of times just to learn something.
I can definitely agree about those rubber TPO roofs.
Every OSHA paragraph is written in someone's blood. ☠️
Haha try 4 feet of snow Service area Barrhaven??
Pretty sure Rick Dirmeyer can testify to this also 😅 Are you in Nepean ?
Like the random air filter left behind by someone else at the start of the clip
Is this in the high desert? Seems familiar
Bring a sled next time 😂
Bro thats a HVACR ice rink 😂😂
Love the ones with no paraput wall / rail. Gotta be careful
Even the stairs I was working on one rooftop and slipped on the stairs got lucky to grab on the railing but yeh be super carefull takes a Milla sec for things to happen quick and next thing you know you out of commission
In the north east those white roofs are brutal especially in winter. At my yearly physical my doctor asked me if I had any falls lately. The dude has no clue. Those roofs defy physics and freeze at 40°F.
