Okay, so I'm doing a bunch of testing for indoor air quality. Looking at PM, 2.5 pm10 co2 I've been having some ventilation. This. The temperature and humidity on this temp top mm mm see is not accurate, but you can see.

My humidity in here is high and we've got a high wall, which is on a multi zone MXZ, and it's always kind of struggled. I'm gon na make some additional alterations, but I wanted to try this CLO breeze, which is this guy here. It actually sends infrared signals at the corners and can adjust the setting so right now, I'm in dry mode. Now what I was hoping that this would do, because it has a humidity sensor in it that I could actually adjust and set the humidity in dry mode.

On the Mitsubishi, because the thing I don't like about these is that they humidify pretty well in dry mode, but you can't control humidity or temperature. So I thought - maybe I could do that with this and unfortunately it doesn't allow that I've put in that request from the manufacturer and they said they're gon na look at it, but it is interesting how it works, and so I just wanted to show that. So we can change it in between different modes. So let's go ahead and put it in cool mode here, so you can see that so I can change the temperature set points pretty easily by just putting it in cool and then when it goes back now it's in cool mode.

Now I can set the temperature using this, and this is, you know, maybe a little easier than using the remote control. The only downside to it is, is it has to be plugged in it can either be plugged in via 24 volts, using these connections right here or the the kind of typical. I guess it's six volt five old six volt plug in that I have on the jack. This is just kind of a typical Android style, USB Micro type of connector connected into the wall.

So it isn't always gon na be convenient, but there may be cases if you've got an end table underneath the Dhokla system or nearby, where you can use this, and people may find this to be better control than say a typical remote control. But this is how the app looks you can see you can set up multiple devices, which is you know. I could see how this would be nice. Do you have multiples in a house you can make some adjustments do like how you can adjust the humidity and temperature on the device? I think that's a nice feature and then you can open it up and actually adjust the different modes, which is quite a bit easier.

You can here it just went into dry mode and I can change swing position at fan. Speed right here, which i think is also nice, so I think it's an interesting device probably doesn't replace. The wall mounted controls that the manufacturers recommend, but it does work with a wide range of different ductless equipment, which is a nice feature, and that is the CLO breeze plus didn't do what I hoped it would do, but I can see how it might be useful For some other applications, okay, stop the presses, stop the presses. This actually does what I was hoping it would do.
He does it in kind of a strange way and it may not be perfect in all applications, but you just hit the device that you want to work with, go down to e saver and go to my rules and what I've set up you can set it Based on humidity, you can set it based on temperature, but you set your own rules. So if room temperature falls below 69 degrees turn the power off if room temperature goes above 72 degrees power on in dry mode with low air flow, and I can adjust the air flow. I could put it on auto if I wanted, which might be a little better in this case, but it's very very interesting now. The thing I don't know is: it still has this 75 locked in there, and so I'm not sure if that is gon na work perfectly, but if I didn't want to do it this way, if I didn't want to run it based on temperature, I could at Least, just run it based on a humidity sensing, and so it that would be another way of doing that.

So anyhow gives you the ability to signal the equipment, which is exactly what I was hoping. It would do thanks for watching.

When you adjust the temp on the Cielo does it also adjust temp on the AC unit or does the AC unit always stay at its lowest temp and just the Cielo turns it on and off based on the Cielo temp readings?

I have a ducted mini split system and can't find a theostat besides the pos that came with the system. It is MrCool multi unit system. Any ides?

Doubt … the temperature and humidity control is adjustable with artificial intelligence? I mean if this device is smart so that it adjusts itself if environmental conditions change … not having to do it manually.

This smart gadget is impressive. After watching this video I wondered If I could use it with my decades-old window unit and surprisingly their live chat support confirmed the compatibility and more surprisingly they said I will be able to control my AC using Alexa too.
Thank you HVAC school for bringing my attention to a real SMART solution.

Cielo would be very nice for the elderly.

One of my associates tried these remotes due to a difficult owner not wanting hiwall unit, floor console and then no cassette since this job was for an added flat roof, sun type addition. After a few go arounds she decided on and where the hiwall unit was going and we would deal with hiding the linesets outside..😵
Since routing a control cable was out of 5he questing, we opted for this IR remote kit. KNOCK ON WOOD, I have not had a call back ..yet. Only issue I saw was daylight all around and a tabletop control near just a blind equipped window allowing sun conduction since builder owner installed non low e glass double pane.
,…..so far….so good. Service area Ottawa??

I like that you can program custom rules for the equipment to follow. Nice job with the workaround Bryan Are you in Nepean ?

Damn those blue on commercials spent a lot on marketing and keyword target to their demographics. You’re intelligent as Nostradamus you’re a freak of nature at Enginuity you are the boss and they were even able to mention beer in the commercial. Oh can’t forget it had the word free in it. You get a free app.
