In this unboxing video, Bryan goes over the features and functions of the Emerson White-Rodgers All-Spark ignition module, which can replace over 1000 direct-spark and intermittent-spark modules. He also shows how to use near-field communication (NFC) to sync the module with the White-Rodgers Connect app.
The NFC capabilities of the White-Rodgers Connect app don't require wi-fi or cellular data; you just link a nearby module to your mobile device and receive configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnostic resources for that module. The All-Spark module doesn't need to be turned on, either. Each All-Spark box comes with a QR code that will direct you to the White-Rodgers Connect app on your phone's app store. The app automatically configures your All-Spark module based on the part number of the OEM module you're replacing.
The box comes with a cross-reference and timings booklet for manual configuration, installation instructions, the multi-connector, screws, heat shrink, terminal ends, and the fault code sticker. The All-Spark may also operate as a thermostat; it has an onboard temperature sensor and doesn't require an additional thermostat in many cases.

In this video, we're covering one of the most requested truck stock. Parts A lot of people have been asking me to do a video on this. This is the Emerson White Rogers Allspark. This thing replaces a huge number of existing intermittent spark and direct spark modules.
So when you think about the three different types of common modules, you have intermittent spark, you have direct spark and you have hot surface ignition. This replaces the first two both intermittent spark and direct spark. A couple really handy things about this that we're going to cover is the fact that you can configure it through the white Rogers app, which is super simple using near field communication technology. You can actually do that whether it's energized or not, regardless of Wi-Fi regardless of cell service.
Once it is set up, you can use it to do further configuration troubleshooting, Diagnostics or whatever else you need to do, which makes the combination of the all-spark and the app something that you're really going to find beneficial out in the field. For technicians and contractors who are looking for a way to reduce their truck stock, reduce the number of Skus on their truck, this is a really smart part to have on your truck. First, I Want to show you how to install the white Rodger Connect App The allsparkbox has a QR code that takes you directly to the app's download page on your phone's app store. Once you install the app from the Google Play store or the iPhone app store, you can open the app and accept the terms and conditions.
Now that it says connect to Control, we can open the box and connect the control. Here We have our cross reference and timings booklet which covers a wide range of different controllers if you need to configure it manually. The Allspark module replaces over 1 000 intermittent pilot and direct spark ignition modules for residential and commercial equipment, so this cross-reference booklet can come in handy if you can't use the white Rogers Connect app for some reason. Next are the installation instructions which cover things like the capabilities of the control, positioning of the mounting screws, how to access the different configurations on the actual face of the control, and even some sequence of operation and troubleshooting information.
Here is the multi-connector It also comes with screws, additional heat shrink, and terminal ends. You've also got your fault code label which you have fixed inside the furnace when you've completed the installation and setup. The Allspark has the ability to utilize its own on-board temperature sensor to operate as a thermostat, so it doesn't require an additional thermostat with certain types of tube heaters or radiant heaters. Now, we're going to connect the mobile device.
The white Rogers Connect app comes with near field communication or NFC technology which links the All-spark directly to your mobile device. The All-spark doesn't need to be powered on and no Wi-fi cell service or password is required. Now that the device recognizes the Allspark, we can put in the part number that we're placing and it will automatically configure everything in the system based on that number. Again, the Allspark can replace over 1 000 OEM parts. so the automatic configuration of the white Rogers Connect app saves a lot of time. For example, when replacing a Fenwall control, it automatically sets up all the parameters needed to match the control we're replacing. We just have to hit update control and keep the mobile device near the allspark and the control is updated with all those new configurations. While it's operating, we can look at system status and Diagnostics making it more capable than the modules that were in place before.
you'll also notice that the Allspark has two different types of terminals for the two different common types of spark. for both the round Raja spark connector and the typical Spade type connector. That's about it. You can learn more about the Allspark at Hvacrschool.com Allspark.

I just installed one today in a radiant tube heater. Worked like a charm! Service area Barrhaven??
Everyone has been pushing to sell me these. I have one on the van but still side eyeing it ๐๐คจ
I love these things. If you are afraid of universal parts because you donโt know how to fix things then This will terrify you, but if you know your stuff you will be really glad you have one of these on the truck. However, youโll probably never put one in a furnace because those usually have blower controls on their circuit boards. For non condensing boilers, older unit heaters, tube heaters and older RTUs though I keep one handy all the time.
I was in residential HVAC from 1988 to 2016 and all I can say is wow,, just wow,, I wish I had had that on my truck !!
Hey yโall love learning from your videos. One video I would love to see is how to use MeasureQuick with a newer heat pump in heat mode. How to setup and where to put all the temp clamps etc. I just canโt seem to figure out MeasureQuick when in heat mode in heat pump. Always says suction line too hot etc. then when I change to discharge temp it wants suction temp. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ I do t get what it wants I guess. Please make a video of this please!

I pair that with the new Universal Single Stage HSI Integrated Furnace Control Kit (50M56X-843) and I have a replacement for most furnace boards on the truck.
