In the off season when companies are not busy, when they are not running around like chickens with their heads cut off, when they're not having to knock out multiple calls a day, companies will actually adjust their pricing. Now not all companies, but at least some companies I have heard of. Companies will adjust their pricing based on how busy they are and I've actually had people comment on our videos where they'll say well, Josh that's just supply and demand and I would argue that that's not EX exactly what supply and demand is but I understand what they're saying that they're really busy. They can raise their prices because they're going to stay busy regardless.
And when they're not busy, they're going to lower their prices I Guess to try to get more business or something.
During the slow off seasons we will do system tune-ups and maintenances for free. The large franchise and power company hvac businesses reduce their tune up and maintenance prices to literally nothing. For example $59 Heating tune up. First of all a heating tune up is not even in the realm of ACCA procedures. And we all know that for some companies tune up only means a visual inspection which in most cases is virtually worthless. But these big franchise companies which we know who they are, Advertise super low priced tune-ups Just to get their foot in the door with a new customer with the end goal being To make money off of the system replacement most times as Louise at the 8 to 10 year mark. Those large companies train their technicians to sell system replacements way before the normal life cycle of a system. So why don't small businesses just advertise free initial tune-ups and maintenances? Do an excellent job and impress the new customer and bingo you now are most likely the go to repair and installation company. I mean why not? I mean you know how much money small businesses waste in online marketing that don't give them a good return on their investment like Facebook ads and certain Google paid ads?
When its busy, pricing usually will be lower. Volume sales means lower prices. That is unless the price list is based on politics vs . the real world. Are you in Orleans ?
