Here's a filter cleaning hack for your hot tub. This method will give you the deepest filter clean without having to do too much work. Instead of spraying down your filter with a hose, grab a bucket, fill it partway with water, and add a filter cleaning solution to the bucket. Remove your filter cartridge from the hot tub, and soak it in the filter cleaning solution overnight.

It's the deepest clean that you can get without having to actively clean between the filter pleats. just be sure to spray it off afterwards. Any residual cleaner can cause your water to foam up. In the meantime, you can keep an extra filter on hand and add it back to your hot tub while the other filter soaks overnight.
