Should you get an ozonator for your hot tub, there are a few really great upsides to getting one installed. Ozonators inject ozone into the water, which removes impurities and that means you don't need to add as much chlorine or bromine in the water. but ozonators aren't cheap to buy and install, and you'll need to maintenance and replace the parts over time. The ozone can also damage the inside of your hot tub cover, so while an ozonator can help you use fewer chemicals, we actually recommend using a mineral system instead.
You get the benefit of needing less chlorine or bromine, but they're much cheaper and easier to use compared to ozonators.
ozone is a toxin!
