Jill needs to sit higher and her words will just flow out and in turn leveling out the play field, just saying!..
Would love to ride shotgun with you for a day. Love your videos all the way from Australia!
So I was watching the outakes and I wondering what Chris saw and make him burst to laugh?
I'm not even an a/c tech, more a carpenter , but have become addicted to your videos.
Watched this one to end.
You and your wife are awesome.
You're a lucky man. And humble. You easily, maybe too often, point out You're just human and do make mistakes.
I became a loyal fan because of your modesty.
Good luck to you your business, your wife and family.
Way to go, man! Are you in Orleans ?
You guys are an absolutely beautiful couple. I also have BP1 and a host of other mental illnesses. My wife let me go after a 30 year marriage, dont let it happen to you. Listen to your pdoc, take your medication and never stop therapy. Im single now but its only because of the way I dealt with stress…
Brother, I get it over you hiring apprentice and covid. I say to your future apprentice if he or she wants to work they can use their own ride till they can prove themselves worthy to keep their job and satisfied your work ethics. Also, I would train your wife to be your Manager / Partner in Business the Next Big I Do. </ : ) My little man my son said you need Jeeesuuus or just Man up handle it. We love your training channel.
Where do you find angels like her????? Love to watch this (ofc the "working" vids too) and see that you have family understanding your job and your type of job schedule, forget about 9-5 in your professional.:D Are you in Ottawa ?
Im no HCAVR guy but I do enjoy watching the videos. Glad to hear jobs are starting to pick back up for you. Having a business background I can understand the stress COVID has on a business owner. COVID was been kicking my butt (all of our butts). It hasnt been kind to the aviation industry. I ended up getting stuck with the shit end of the stick. I left my airport job to finishing training so that i wouldnt miss the pilot hiring boom but boy did COVID have something to say to that. But I got lucky and got picked up by a really small company. Things are really slow but hopefully it picks.
I think you two should start a series where you teach your wife how to fix a faulty system… like a bring the wife to work day I think it would be super fun to watch
so true, trying to balance it all.
Good series you have going. Suggestion, put a description after the title like episode 3 :finances
No anyone is perfect and none relationship is perfect also. Love, respect and communication.
Thanks for sharing.
If I had to add something Iโm that might help you guys it would maybe to just take time to do small meditations maybe one in the morning when your up or when you get home from a long day it truly helps. With being able to shut the brain off and meditation helps in so many ways ๐ soothing music can help as well along with the meditation.
i have nothing to do with hvac, I watch this chanel because I generaly enjoy trubbleshoting myself and trubbelshoting content and thats basicly what you produce.
Im certain you are both good humans, you produce very real content. Thats awsome. Sth. where you can learn from. Keep up the great content.
You get what you pay for. Hiring an apprentice is for union shops. Thatโs it. If youโre getting into a mom and pop shop youโre making a mistake and are building someone elseโs dream. This guy is literally talking about running the shop and how he hates paying!!! Working for 20$/hr turning in $5K worth of tickets a day and making $160 without any of the benefits of a union shop or big corporation and no scale to work up is a scam. Here in Austin an apprentice in a union shop off the street will make $18/hr , tradesmen techs about 25$ and journeyman pay is $37/hr in Austin!!! This guy will never pay you almost 1,600 a week unless youโre making him 20,000. Mom and pop shops are scams!
Thank you for these. Your reservations as an owner about Covid resonate – and I think you're making the right decision. Protect your health, your family's health, and only take on people you know you can take care of and trust.
If Biden wins you'll have plenty of time to stay home. He said he would shut it down until is was no cases of covet 19, especially restaurants.
Very smart lady. Do what it takes to keep her.
i suffer from similar health issues.
On those days when I am not feeling well I just take it easy and take care of myself.
It so easy to get stressed and doing more harm on those days.
I became self employed this year when it got too bad where I had been working since 2002.
The lifestyle adjustment is hard, being part of a team and having support at work and at home is pretty important.
Financially, if one is honest, the work is quality and one is not the cheapest then the business works out.
I digress, it was a great video and I agree with what was said.
kind regards to all,
Duncan, South Africa
Pretty wife
Handsome couple ๐
Nice to see together
Keep the videos coming
Love your channel โค Are you in Barrhaven ?
Kudos! Sounds like you are putting the work into your relationship that is essential for the long term.
It awesome to see you and your wife just as real people! Good man!
Dude your wife works, it is just not at the restaurant anymore. She supports you and runs your family.
Hey, guys! Excellent choice for the clip to end the video! Laughter is the always the best medicine. Best wishes from Florida. Service area Nepean??
Great video Chris. You really hit the bullseye with some of those personal topics. Some of the same stuff my wife and I deal with. Glad to know we aren't the only ones. Been really loving this "personal" series so far. Anyway, the movie was The Replacements. Kinda makes me want to watch it again. Take care and keep the great videos coming.
Itโs good to see your calls because I have done it for so many years my wife wouldnโt know that I have been on two or five calls during the night
I love watching your vid bro all the way from New Zealand
you have a BIG nose
Honest critique… you should center the camera's focus about four feet more to your left. Otherwise great video. ;-D
I think i like these videos more than the repair videos. You and your wife sharing personal details and opening up to people you don't know is very brave. I want to thank you for sharing. I showed my wife this video so she knows that others that have small hvac companies share the same struggles, that we are not alone.
Great video Chris
You seem like a nice couple. May God Bless you and your family. We think you're doing great!
Love your videos watch them all the time. Been doing HVAC for almost 7 years just started doing refrigeration about 1 year ago appreciate all the content you produce. Definitely made me a better technician. Keep up the great work and just know your videos are making a difference to young guys in this trade like myself Service area Kanata??
"The Replacements"…great movie. Thanks for sharing your story, was fun listening. Service area Orleans??
Chris, I donโt know anything about HVACR industry. Iโm in the tech field. What interests me is how your concept of thinking and troubleshooting is so similar to the tech side of things. And Iโm naturally curious about other fields of work too, your videos have given me fresh ways of thinking in my own field of work too. I like electrical stuff, motors, wires, etc. and having a general understanding of how ventilation and refrigeration systems work made me better at handling appliances than before. Of course I canโt fix big problems. Thatโs still for the pros but small things that an average guy can fix became easier to do. So thank you! I wish I had the skill to teach and explain as you do.
I am glad that you continued these type of videos, balancing a business and family is never easy. There is nothing more better than having a loving wife being there threw the good and the bad times, we are the lucky ones. Good Video ๐
I love watching your videos i don't do HVAC its very educational. One thing i was wondering about was could you possibly somewhere in the videos number the location that you go to cause its kinda confusing on witch location you are at in each video if you can't thats ok. Love your videos tho
Chris: You seem to dwell on making mistakes and not being perfect. Just try to be yourself and enjoy life between the job stress. I did HVAC for more than 50 years and I am a member of the RSES society. Enjoy the breaks and seminars. I went to Vages, Orlando etc. and those are great times with RSES. Great video and thanks.
Enjoyed the video, interesting as always. good to hear some of the struggles, I'm new to this YouTube thing and good to hear from both perspectives.
I had the rona. Itโs wasnโt that big of A deal.
Good news, this is the last week of the scamdemic! Are you in Kanata ?
As a young 'child' in his 20's I appreciate these videos. Been following this series and they've helped a lot as I work in busy industry as well (mining) that takes a toll on you.
I'm getting ready to open a HVAC company in Tampa., with my wife. Gonna have her watch this..nice ๐
You need to have more faith in your employees and give them responsibility. Training is VIP. Trust your employees.
The movie is โ The Replacementsโ !!Chris and Jill stay in love !!
You have a big nose Service area Ottawa??
Y you have had struggles but you have learned from them and have become a better person! You are so fortunate to have a good understanding wife that is with you every step of the way! Hopefully one of your senior technicians will be able to step up and be able to help you run the business when you are sick! You know who is capable for you to trust with that! It would be a great idea for you to have your daughters tag along with you to work so they can get a better idea of what you go thru and spend more time with you! Nothing is more important for a daughter than to spend time with Dad ! It will be the experience of a lifetime for both of you! They will see first hand how the real world is to an invaluable lesson in life! You and your wife have a very special and wonderful relationship! Thanks for another awesome video! Service area Barrhaven??
"Made mistakes in my career" fully expecting you to turn to your left as a gag and get your ass kicked
punching a little hole in some drywall sounds like a very minor outburst but you had the maturity to recognise what was bubbling below the surface… huge respect for speaking openly about it. the entire western world is full of families that fall to pieces because people who care about each other can't talk to each other. anyone struggling i urge to speak to someone immediately.
Happy Halloween, and prosperity to you and yours!
