If you have a saltwater pool and you're closing it up for the winter, make sure you also winterize your saltwater generator. That means removing your salt cell, cleaning it, and storing it inside for the winter. This prevents damage during freezing temperatures. Then use winterization plugs or a dummy cell to block the pipe openings in your saltwater generator.
