Financing companies work with a lot of heating and air contractors. Most of them offer zero percent financing or some sort of options, different loan amounts and things like that. But almost all of them, even if they're offering zero percent financing, are charging the contractor some sort of dealer fee. Maybe they call it a processing fee? Maybe they call it a convenience fee, But the idea is still the same.
They're charging the contractor to be able to offer financing to their customers. How do a lot of contractors handle that? How do you handle that? If you're a contractor and you're watching this comment down below, let me know. how do you normally handle that? I Can tell you that a lot of them handle it by passing the fee onto their customers some way. Somehow, most of them do what the financing companies tell them to do and that is build it into their pricing.
And in other words, they're basically saying raise your prices across the board to all consumers even if they're paying cash. I'm.
Do you know who pays for all of the uninsured drivers out there? Those of us with car insurance. So are you hinting on the fact that banks shouldn't make any money for offering loan programs to people who don't have enough self will to save money for emergency purposes?
I fiancé my customers out of my own money Service area Ottawa??
I would just be transparent to the customer and say 'hey, you can finance it interest free, but it will cost a little bit extra up front to cover any processing fees." In my experience a customer will appreciate that 1000% more than if i tried to obfuscate in my over all pricing for the bid.
