Well, that's not a good sound. gotta iced up walk-in freezer. Unfortunately, when it's this bad, there's not a whole lot you can do to prevent the motors from getting wet. It's gonna happen.
And there's a possibility every time we have on this bad that we're going to have a bad motor. by the time we're done defrosting it. we can't let it drip dry. You know I mean we can't let it just sit there and run because the defrost.
The The issue is is that there's more ice in front of the coil than there is on the coil. So the defrost heaters are doing their job and I've tested them but just got to be careful and we're gonna go slow because we don't want to be getting water all over the floor. We want to keep it off of the floor. so it's just a slow process of melting it.

Jr why don't u grab some pans to catch the water so I'm the floor doesn't get wet, I mean ur in a kitchen bruh….. Are you in Nepean ?
Use hot water from the coffee urns. But it does ruin the seals in the bug sprayer

What about a chisel and rubber mallet? Or a very small circular saw to carve out the mass amount of excess ice?
As crappy as it is, deicing coils is my favorite part of this job. It's somewhat meditative.

All the units I've worked on the motor is usually on the outside so it's easy to take off with the blades
