PayPal Owners when should you add clarifier to your pool? If you have mildly cloudy water or you want your water to look extra sparkling clean, add a clarifier. It's a great option to use after a pool party, and unlike Flocculent, you don't need to vacuum out or remove the clarifier once you add it, but you will need to clean or backwash your filter after using it.     Some brands have products labeled as clarifier that are actually more similar to flocculant in properties. Either way, you'll most likely have to clean your filter out sooner than you usually would

    If you need to use clarifier or flocculant then you are doing something wrong. Instead of hiding a problem that will certainly reappear it would be better to find the underlying cause and fix it
