Do you have a winter cover on your pool? Solid covers protect your pool from debris, runoff, rainwater, and snow melt in the offseason, but that standing water can weigh down and damage your cover and that weigh can start to pull the cover away from the edges of your pool, causing a serious safety hazard. So throughout the winter, use a pool cover pump to remove any standing water and brush debris and snow off your cover with a soft broom.
