What a longer pool season! Here are three ways to keep your water warm and swimmable. Number one is use solar blankets. If the nights are really chilly but the days are still warm, you can use a solar blanket to keep that heat. And if you're running a heater, it'll help trap in that heat as well. Number two: get a pool heat pump. This is the most energy efficient kind of pool heater. It stops working below 55 degrees.

Fahrenheit but it's a great way to extend your swimming season in mild temperatures. And number three: get a gas pool heater. This is the most powerful heating option. It'll work no matter how cold it is outside, and it's great at heating larger pools, but it's the most expensive heating option.
