Hi, im about to get a daikin fit 2.5 tons installed in my new house that im building. Im just curious about how well it holds in the winter (living in canada here) and also the noise indoors and outdoors. I live in a 2 floors house + a basement, 950 sf. per floors, with 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Thank you

Depending on area, the Fit Struggles to meet rebate incentives. The Daikin VRV offers a much better solution. Also, The Fit has very limited refrigerant control, it is internally controlled like a mini split, where as the VRV system has extremely more robust refrigeration management. It's a difference of saving up to 30 percent in operation costs (having the Fit versus traditional heat pump), and saving up to 60 percent in operational costs (with vrv compared to traditional heat pumps). I would highly recommend a good look into VRV if you are installing inverter and understand the advantages inverter offers. 😀 Service area Barrhaven??

Curious why the seer rating is only 18 on these units , seems most inverter systems are 20 seer or higher

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ultra says:

I thought the daikin 2 tons were only mini split ductless systems? That outdoor unit can work with a separate indoor pancake unit?
