So they called in a panic because the beer walk in was too warm, I was able to get them back up and running in a few hours and than we gave them a quote to replace the equipment.

Cheers Mr Chris dude great video as usual? Keep safe dude and keep doing the awesome work you do your a genius 👍
We need some type of protectant or enamel on the bends in the evaps. Too many units need to get replaced due to pitting on the thinner walls in the bends.
"I really appreciate you making it to the end of the video".. That usually is my cue to stop working what i'm working on and go to the next video.
Today it wasn't, so i heard what you said until the actual end of the video. So if you want some of us to actually listen to everything, put this literally at the end.
(Because you asked, cheers).
wow its 60 at night for you guys in Indiana that is just duing the day during the night it can go below 50 and somenight below 40
Your wrong! Ranco are the best because my kids need shoes! Replaced hundreds over the years, never with a Ranco. Always a Penn / Johnson Controls because don't want a call back.
Hey Chris, question Why use a crescent over using the proper wrench’s??? guessing just less tools to lug around??🤷🏾♂️ Service area Ottawa??
do germans like warm beer?
Why the fuck am I watching this.
How you know the low pressure was open before testing it??
I am about to buy a extension now lolz
That scale control should have a way to program the amount that you want to put in the system and have a alarm when is about to get to that amount ,just so you can be doing something else and not waiting by the scale
Just spray a little Flex Seal on the coil, good as new. 🤓 Service area Barrhaven??
At what box temp or evap coil temp are looking for before checking for a clear sight glass, before you add the winter charge?
It’s Crazy for me to see that you’re ok with 344 head pressure!
110 dam looks at current temp 39…hmm Are you in Orleans ?
Great video. Not too complicated but still thorough from start to finish, I like it
I can't remember any other videos on a Tecumseh unit before
Another job well done. Its youre fault my van is now full of fieldpiece tools lol. keep the good stuff coming sir
❤️
Hard to believe it was just the pressure control. You seemed surprised that it was not something crazy. 😀
Frankly I would never quote a partial system replacement when both the condensing unit and evaporator are the same age. Plus opening an existing system up to the atmosphere adds moisture. I had a client just looking for a condensing unit for their walk in but they were using an old freezer evaporator for the walk in refrigerator. I told them I would not quote them anything other than a full new system replacement for their walk in.
Do you like infrared or heated diode better?
5..10 years of life for a new unit… I have a heat pump which is running as a water-cooled air conditioning unit during summer, it's from 2001 and still going strong.
I think your circuit open and circuit closed are swapped from everything I've ever heard. Maybe that's a west coast thing lol.
Isn't their srs3 scale also rated at 252?
Lol I learned about packing nuts today in class. This is why I like to watch your channel it’s really nice to SEE what I’m learning before I go into the field next summer.
Another great video thank you for sharing
Great touch Chris
Your knowledge is A1 👍🏼
Could the leaks caused a condition where it was cycling frequently and wore the switch out?
Dang dude I live in Coachella Valley…. Ur a bad ass working on roofs in the summers! I work outside but I'm sure the roof is way worse.
Those Penn pressure controls are pretty nice. I agree the Ronco's dont last and aren't as accurate. Another great video Chris
I just got some new scales as well. Testo 560i with the solenoid valve to shut off flow for SC,SH,TARGET SH or by weight. I still have the second gen FP scales that work great. Just likes the features of the Testo, so i bought it
Thanks Service area Kanata??
Do all low pressure controls support high voltage, I'd have figured many would only support 24volts and this that would have been a consideration in whether you had a suitable control in your van. Or do you just only stock high voltage? Service area Orleans??
Where did you get your long metal draws from in your van?
Since you did damage your gauge with your Klein, I will take those gauge 😂😂😂 Are you in Nepean ?
I had the same issue with a high-side king valve service port leaking, I ended up replacing it. I inspected it to see what was up with it, possibly cross-threaded but nothing very visual. My hose just would not seal on it, unless like you I cranked down on it with wrenches, but I don't want to trash my seals by over-tightening them.
Just in case u need to weigh an 🐘
I have that leak detector…..does absolutely nothing but give me false readings…worst 700 I ever spent…and I got 2 for my company and they are just terrible…my 169 inficon is 19x better
I know you’re not perfect but I feel like your work is pretty much the gold standard. Learned quite a bit from this channel over the last couple of years. 👍 Are you in Kanata ?
Can’t believe you didn’t test the wire between the switch and contractor
Messy van, you obviously not seen a hydraulic engineer van, well mine.
