Hey Pool Owners Here are three weird household products you can use to keep your pool clean. Number One: Baking Soda You can use the clean pool tile and grout. You can also use it in your water. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate and it's also the main ingredient in alkalinity increaser.
Add 1.5 pounds of baking soda for every 10 000 gallons of water. This will raise your alkalinity by 10 parts per million. Number Two: White Vinegar: If you see a chalky white line at your pool's water line, that's calcium buildup and diluted white vinegar can wipe it away. Mix a 50 50 solution of vinegar and water and use it to scrub the residue.
Number Three: Vitamin C Tablets or powder. Vitamin C AKA Ascorbic acid can remove metal stains and rust. Just crush the tablet or use the powder to scrub away stains on pool surfaces. Follow us at swim University for more pool care tips throughout the year.

Do not add baking soda into your pool itll bring up alkalinity and then drop your PH. Its for baking not for pools
In fact vitamin is not acid taste. Guava is sweatest taste and had more vitamin c rather than lemon
Thank you
What about algae? Same thing?
What do you think of the 3 b's? Bleach, borax and baking soda.
My cousin just got a new pool like that
I learned about baking soda instead of that balance that you buy for $20 a bag or more. It really saves your money and does as good a job!
