Did you just have lots of people over using your hot tub? Well, there's one thing that you can add to the water right after a lot of activity. After everyone gets out, add a dose of hot tub oxidizer AKA non-chlorine shock. This will help keep your sanitizer active in the water, remove oils, break down organic contaminants, and clear up cloudy water if you notice it's still murky the next day. Check your alkalinity pH and chlorine or bromine levels.

You can also add a water clarifier to help clear things up a bit quicker.

If your spa and pool mix freely every day then your pool shock already reaches the spa. This non-chlorine shock is really meant for free-standing spas sanitized with bromine — you don’t need it in your setup

Would you recommend this over a dichlor shock? I have a fiberglass pool/hot tub combo with salt water system (every day the hot tub and pool water go through the filter together). I've been relying on the salt cell chlorine system and on occasion use dichlor shock. Very curious about this non chlorine shock, as I use the hot tub weekly with friends. Thanks!
