Hey hot tub owners! There are eight chemicals you absolutely need for your hot tub and the rest are totally optional. You need alkalinity increaser pH increaser PH decreaser chlorine or bromine calcium hardness oxidizer AKA non-chlorine shock, a hot tub, plumbing cleaner, and a filter cleaner. Depending on your water source, you may also need a metal sequesterant and if you want that extra sparkling clear water, add a weekly clarifier.
