So it's hot out and we kinda gotta put the fires out and get them running and return later to finish up the call.

Do the Penn / JC dual pressure switches with manual HP reset drift as bad as the peanut switches?
Edit: 10 lbs off of cut-out on a manual peanut switch doesn't necessarily strike me as problematic drift. I don't understand why you wouldn't just replace the 'shitty' controls with a decent dual pressure switch.
Lots of techs forget to test how a unit acts when pumping down…
I can pee harder than that. 😭
Wow, when you got onto the roof, it sounded like you were working around some screw chillers… loud but guessing it's simply good audio recording.
Love your channel!!! You show the good and bad and I admire that,. Keep it up Service area Ottawa??
I don’t like manual resets. Do you have a set rate for jobs like this or is it time plus materials? I’m in Georgia just starting out and I want to get an idea how to set my prices.
Chris I'm considering building a HVAC monitoring system that could be added on to existing systems like this.
Ideally I would monitor pressures and current and send that data to a cloud were I could run some real time analysis to detect problems (clogged condensers and such).
It would probably be a subscription service that the restaurant pays for and would instantly notify HVAC service techs like yourself of a failing unit.
Do you think their would be a market for that? Service area Nepean??
Do you ask permission to film? Curious how you handle customers with this as I'm sure you run into grumpy people mad at the world that would complain. Nothing a few bucks off won't fix. 🤣
Why do you use the extension on your hoses?
Now I know what when it rains it pours. It hardly ever rains in the desert and when it does it really foes work floods
Has been down all day, calls at 530pm…
Interesting that you would use the receiver valve for a swivel tee. Reasoning behind that? I was always told you were supposed to leave those valves cracked open. They had to either be front seated or back seated. Are you in Barrhaven ?
❤
The store managers are not prompting employees to shut the fridge door behind them enough.
Air in the water line sounds like
Hey boss I got 5 hats 🧢…I see you at the Wholesale house the other day… no just being a smart ass…see ya on Friday… Are you in Kanata ?
At that ambient, under rare circumstances, if there is a dust devil or gusts from a thunderstorm that cause air to enter the back of the condensing unit, the fans can't move air across the coil. I've seen mini splits throw a code and lock out especially when set perpendicular to prevailing winds.
Why wouldn't you install a automatic reset control instead?
I been waiting for a new video. Finally
👍
What up boss…
6 years in hvac/r and still love watching your videos . I really think these videos made me the tech I am today . Your the man HVAC/r . I’m servicing the the San Fernando valley Greater La area 🤌🏽🤌🏽 so cal hvacing
415 head pressure is nuts. I’d never set one of my customers equipment to run that high. 350 max!!!
2.5 turns! Wow… that was way out…Like your videos. Coming from a HVACR guy… You definitely know your stuff !
Why are all these freezers identical? Is there a manufacturer monoply or are you visiting the same few places over and over?
Our main goal is to just put the fire out on call and address the next day. Generally speaking the person whose account it is will follow up. If it's something simple to fix the problem we will take care of it.
Have you ever worked on the units that you access through the kitchen? Everything is in a room by itself. Like what was at a Shoneys restaurant.
Lol "Hurry" cracks me up every time. Are you in Nepean ?
Another good little vid … You make me and Sister Hazel proud 😂😅🤣 Thx …
I can pee harder than this, wins the week
SO = 600v rated cable and SJ is 300v, the J actually stands for junior
Stupid question incoming.
Is there a reason as to why Viper puts their cleaner in bags rather than containers? It's just an interesting packaging for liquid. Service area Orleans??
Great video as always
Chris, why no solid state 3-phase relays? Why don't you use them? I ask because you replace the contactors that get ruined by sand and while solid state relays are more expensive their failure rate due to sand is next to nothing.
you can see the new motor is running a bit faster other than that great video
110°F is insane. For me as a german its around 43,3°C we got a heatwave too last week but it aas only around 38°C (100°F) and high humdity around 70-80%
What kind of humidity you got there??
👍💪❄️🇺🇸
Chris your a hell of a Tech. I have been in the field here in Massachusetts and learn little tricks from you all the time. Much appreciated taking the time to make these thorough videos.
Joe Biden laments the loss of the ice cream.
Do you recommend pee as a coil cleaner? Service area Barrhaven??
Chris good job Are you in Orleans ?
I’ve been watching your channel since 2018 on my tv then finally decided to get a pc.
Nice
Hot water is Probably a clogged instant hotwater heater that completely scaled up from lack on cleanings..
That spring in the DPC is ready to pop off! JOHNSON ? I used Ranco's.
Isn't it strange that the fan motors have such different current ratings? Maybe one got replaced and is undersized?
Chris, if I could support you and what you do for the channel I would, we are all on hard times, but when that ends, I will seriously consider it. Great video, some strange things like the expansion valve adjustment, but I get the age of the unit where the high pressure switch needed to be eliminated. Another awesome content delivery video. Keep safe out there. Cheers from about .6 miles east of Parafield, South Australia.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
