Tonight's show. We're going to start out with a really cool story. I Found that I thought was just kind of cool. just you know, a little bit of a feel-good story.

unlike some of the other stories we talk about on our show, sometimes when they're HVAC related this is about a local fella to Rockfield Illinois is where the story's coming out of. He's a first year apprentice and at least when this was written he was says this was written uh, just last month so he's still pretty new. He must be really liking his job. it says smart Local 219 sheet metal worker Josh Reynolds is a firste Apprentice who learned about the union from his friend fellow member Isaiah Meyers After completing his pre-apprenticeship and starting his career at Local 219, he says the trade has already.

quote changed my life for the better says quote my buddy Isaiah Myers told me about Local 219 and I'd been trying to get into the field for a while prior I came from website development and design and jumped straight into the sheet metal field I haven't looked back since and I loved every minute of it. I Was lucky enough to get a spot as a pre-apprentice I proved through hard work and dedication that I could be taught well and landed in apprenticeship as a first year which I currently am. This journey changed my life for the better simply by introducing me to this trade. So pretty cool story.

I Don't know which one of these guys Josh is I Just found the story and thought it would be a good way for folks that don't know our industry to to just kind of say hey, there's some good good things going on out there too and so it's kind of cool to hear him say that it it changed his life for the better. I actually have to say the same I went to school to be an electrician Chase Jobs was uh, working for a plumbing company for a while and then I finally found Heating and Air and it changed my life for the better as well. So I have to agree with them there.

Why are manufacturers allowed to sell eauiptment that contains a chargeable why are homeowners allowed to top off a charge but follow a,single law I or other techs follow in order to comply with federal laws? So you support a homeowner handling refrigerants? I watch my cousin install a Mr Cool split on video with about 10 of coiled lineset behind the condenser. A factory rep was praising the install and I predicted the compressor would fail due to oil loss. When I spoke to him on the phone about it the compressor had failed in less than 18 months yet he and tbe manufactures rep were telling others it was running well 4 years int9 the install. This is disgraceful, it's against the law and I'm pretty curious if you support this? I want to report the manufacturer Service area Ottawa??
