In this video, Joshua discusses how the HVAC industry has been taking a vantage of the bubble of extra work and inflation. Some companies have become so "bold" that they are pricey gouging folks at ridiculously high numbers. The real estate market has been similar but it seems to be slowing down with homes no longer being sold above asking price and receiving multiple offers without contingencies. Is the slow down in the housing market a sign that HVAC may be slowing down as well?

It's crazy how the Economy is bad, but as for me is quite awesome receiving my $15k returns over my $5k every two weeks❤👍

I’m looking at getting my own equipment and having it installed. $8k total for (Carrier) ICP manufactured equipment. Break down is upstairs attic install with both systems. Upstairs system is 3ton 16 seer single stage Copland scroll with matching evaporator coil and matching 80% 44,000 btu VDF blower 2 stage burner then a downstairs system is 2.5 ton 16 seer with matching evaporator with the same furnace as above. Having new duct work done and added return for the 3 ton unit. $7k for all the labor. $15k total for everything. This is the best deal I’ve been able to put together with the most bang for the buck while being the most reliable, high efficiency and 10 yr warranty with cheap future repairs based on already proven tech.

I want to put a new system in, but are the tax savings/benefits better for 2023? My system does work it’s just old.

New equipment sales are down but service is up. Outdoor wood boiler system design is up. Three so far this year, that is 1 more than I have piped my whole life lol. People see their 401k lose 50k and they hit the brakes not to mention many people take equity loans on new installs for the tax write off but that is over 7% interest now so we are hearing a lot more of "Just fix it" lol Are you in Barrhaven ?

I remember 25 years or so ago. Sitting in a supply house listening to a guy brag that he swaps a 3 ton condenser for no less than $5000. There were several people in the supply house and the rest of us would have all quoted that job around $1200.
I’ll never forget him saying, I may only do one or two jobs a week but I make as much or more than y’all do all week.
