We Zoom lock maxed the catch, all the ball valves, the SE all sight glass. um, we press those on. Okay, but we still have to braze these connections right here. So I've got nitrogen flowing through the system I Utilizing one of the ball vals that I installed I put some of the Viper wet rag heat blocking Compound on the back side and the front side to protect everything holding back the insulation and we're going to braze these up real quick, hopefully without causing a problem.

So stop almost there. It has been a long weekend I'm exhausted. Got the vacuum pump. just started pulling the evacuation right now.

Still got to hook up the electrical and then program the phase monitors and then start the system up and charge it accordingly.

I have watched your videos for a few year's now for entertainment and self education, love them, but do you really like the zoom lock fitting? The automotive industry uses o rings at every connection in their AC, and that is always where the leaks are, they degrade flatten out, and turn hard, and not seal anymore even with the latest and greatest materials

Keep at it! A little DIY is saving my sanity as winter approaches – knowing there's a reward at the end makes it worth getting out there. 😃

Nope. You already have your torch set up sitting right next to you why would you use the zoom lock? I love Zoom lock for water pipes where sometimes you can't get all of the water out of the line making it impossible to solder or in tight spaces where there is a concern of starting a fire or burning wires. If you have the room for a torch use the torch. Not to mention the fact that the fittings are ridiculously expensive. If you have a swaging and bending set you never need to buy a A fitting ever again. Yeah I realize you passed that cost on to the customer but still making the job unnecessarily expensive.

When brazing. I always tell the customer that it’s a free test of your smoke alarm.

I love when commercial guys do residential jobs! Looks amazing. It doesn’t work the other way around though. hahaha
