The Sensi Touch 2 is thin and sleek, has a bright display, and comes in white and black versions. It also helps you monitor your system performance by generating usage and efficiency reports. In addition, it will allow customers to receive alerts and maintenance reminders. The actual thermostat has all of the typical control terminals, including ACC+ and ACC- to allow you to connect accessories like dehumidifiers. You may also purchase the common wire kit if there isn't an existing common wire.
The Sensi Touch 2 integrates with the Sensi app, which allows you to set up the Sensi Touch 2 and receive data in a single platform. You can also add your company information to the thermostat via the app, which lets your customers know who to call when they receive an alert or reminder. The app also allows you to set schedules and has optional geofencing capabilities.
Sensi room sensors measure temperature and humidity, allowing customers to prioritize certain rooms or seek a balance across multiple rooms.
Unlike some other manufacturers that may sell user data for marketing purposes, the Sensi Touch 2 will not sell the data that it collects, and the company has a privacy pledge.

In this video, we're going to talk about the new Scentsy Touch 2 Thermostat and Scentsy as a trusted leader in the HVAC space. So let's get started. First off, since He Touched 2 comes in two different types. It has a white version and a Black Version.

It also functions with separate room sensors which is the Rs01-sg model number. It's one of the really neat things about this device. You can connect up to 15 different room sensors on one thermostat. One thing that a lot of contractors and clients are going to like about this particular product is that it helps monitor system performance so it creates efficiency and usage reports as well as gives alerts and maintenance reminders.

It pairs really nicely with the Scentsy mobile app. You can do a lot on the mobile app in both the setup and in getting data back, both for the client and the installer. so the system can be controlled by the app and provides some amazing reporting. One thing that I really like about the Touch 2 over prior versions is it just has a really improved design.

It's a really nice look to it. It has a glass touchscreen industry leading thinness. It's a very thin profile, top consumer ratings and compatibility. like I mentioned with up to 15 room sensors per thermostat.

You also have the ability to add your company information easily to the device using the app, which makes it really nice if there is a maintenance alert or some sort of other alert on the equipment that it will notify the client to call you directly talking about the room sensor specifically, The room sensors not only measure temperature, they also measure humidity, so it allows for prioritized temperature settings and to help balance temperature settings across multiple sensors or rooms. Kind of run into the typical thing where people want to prioritize, for example, the master bedroom. in certain times a day, it makes it much easier to do that. Let's walk through the Scentsy Touch 2 and talk about some of its really nice features and benefits.

The first thing you're going to notice is the display is really bright. It's easy to go through the different interfaces. It's easy to set a schedule if you want to Via the app. It also has the Geo fencing option which is easy to turn on or turn off depending on if you'd like that and that can allow for that kind of smart setback so that when the client leaves, it allows the temperature to drift up and when they get back into the Zone it brings the temperature back down again for Energy savings.

It has all of the kind of control terminals that you're used to. It has your ACC plus ACC minus so you can connect accessories. It has an onboard humidity sensor so that you can control the system based on humidity using your DH or dehume terminals on the equipment has a lot of those functions that you really need as a professional, and it's really designed for professionals. You know that when a thermostat comes from Scentsy it's really designed for a contractor to use, not so much just on the consumer side, which is really important for us to make sure that they're protecting the relationship between distribution and the contractor.
Of course we mentioned this with the other white Rogers thermostats as well if it has the onboard leveling bubble which is really nice. and really the biggest thing that the Scentsy Touch 2 and Scentsy is focusing on now is data privacy. A lot of the other manufacturers are pretty clear about the fact that they use your personal data data that's collected at your thermostat, and a lot of clients have pointed out that they really don't like that Scentsy has their privacy pledge so they commit not to use your private data in the same way that a lot of these other manufacturers are and to keep it yours and yours alone in cases where you don't have a comment available and you need to add a comment. They do also have the thermostat, common wire kit, the Sa-11 kit which can be utilized in order to get that common.

That way you can consolidate some conductors and get a common to the thermostat. All in all, I've been really impressed by the Scentsy Touch 2. It's really it's just come out to find out more. you can go to Hvacschool.com Touch2 that's Hvacrschool.com Touch2 to find out more.

Does it have standard "J box" spacing for the mounting screws? I know this is mostly a commercial application thing, but it would be nice.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bob Blanchette says:

Does it offer Humidification and/or Dehumidification outputs?

If so, can it control by dewpoint, or only relative humidity?

please don't take money from this garbage company. trust me. we have multiple accounts with them. commercial accounts also. there programming , website and app all are very buggy.
i have been full of frustration with this company for years.
get a Honeywell or Ecobee. trust me you will much happier.

I'll stick with the newest Eccobee thermostat and sensors.

What gives the most information for tracking operation and maintenance?. The original Sensi Predict with all the attached temperature sensors ? Rs100-104

    Smart AC stat ?

    Or Sensi touch 2 ?

Is the First Sensi Predict with the temperature refrigerant line sensors and amp draw sensor still have the best integration with measureQuick for diagnosis ?

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jeremy Jedynak says:

I've had two of the Sensi Touch 1 models (one per zone) for years now, and am looking forward to ditching them in the near future.

I found them to be overpriced for what little they do. There is no way to get your data out of their system to answer your own questions beyond their very rudimentary usage reports.

Those who want privacy should not be using thermostats that send their data outside of their home to systems they have no control over.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Timothy Naugher says:

I will have a hard time trusting them after the whorl debacle with Sesni Predict.

Privacy and wifi do not go together. Ever lol

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nappy says:

Im livin the dream one nightmare at a time. How much would you hire a hvac installer lead? Heat pump, furnace, ac, air handler, and even evolution systems. Hourly? Service area Barrhaven??
