This customer that I have that's out in the desert has sand dunes on the roof. Look over here it's all sand. It's kind of crazy. Look at these it like builds up like nuts.

Well gee wiz, if I knew you were going to the beach I would have brought the cooler and umbrella. Lol Are you in Ottawa ?

It’s coarse and irritating and it gets everywhere.

We had a remote site right off the I-15 and Jurupa exit, all the equipment was coated with sand. The conditions improved as Cal-Trans and or county planted ground cover. (The 60+ MPH wind there at times, would sort-of feel like being on the business end of a sand-blaster. {Actually less landscape sand impact, than from blasting equipment}).

Sand buildup, like water (or Snow), can collapse roofs. Constant vigilance (clearing) is needed.
I wonder why, after seeing some of your videos with rapid contactor fails, those electrical panels/controls in your area are not in SEALED NEMA enclosures.

Its not so much the large grains of sand, they just tend to pile up at edges and crevices. The problem is the all the very fine grains which carry onward with the wind and into the filters.
