Hey hot tub owners! Did you know that your hot tub jets can cause high pH Your pH levels should be between 7.4 and 7.6 If they're too high, it can cause cloudy water, irritate your eyes and skin and prevent your sanitizer from working properly. It can also cause scaling and even equipment failure. Chemicals like chlorine shock can raise the pH in your water, but soak in bubbles and hot tub jets aerate the water and release carbon dioxide and that raises your pH. So test your water levels regularly and add PH decreaser to keep your levels in check.
