You would like to reduce 1 line size on the vertical,to increase refrigerant velocity to return oil,i don't know if increasing it,would affect it ?

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @stevenhorne5089 says:

Come on. Did the thing about the insulation tubing really need to be in the video?

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @chadhartsees says:

When you have customers that order their own equipment, how does the logistics of that work? I'm assuming this is a corporate/franchise chain – is there a central office that has an engineer who keeps track of the different 'model stores' and what kind of replacement equipment they need, so they know what the right sizing is and drop-in replacements will be? Do they ever get it wrong?

when you let down your gaurd is when the propane flame sends flaming shit into the condenser fan Are you in Ottawa ?

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @johnthefactfddict3281 says:

    a proactive customer? lier
all HVAC calls involve customers who don't do routine cleaning and maintenance, and always wait till the last possible second to repair something properly, always leading to a more expensive fix

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @coldfinger459sub0 says:

ICM Head pressure control, or a PENN 266 control the condenser fans to any setpoint head pressure you want. ๐Ÿค”? .

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @wickedxe says:

G'day Chris, can you please link the previous video in the description?

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @user-dj6uz8uj2o says:

It doesn't matter if the company put there name on the armor flex on the line set. It still work right?

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @TylerHVAC says:

Intrusive thoughts: "Throw it off man, it's just an old condenser…throw it off."

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @thom78280 says:

are these compressors scroll or rotary ? Are you in Barrhaven ?

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @brianallyn5308 says:

I am sorry, but who cares the company put their name on the insulation. Do you cover the carrier badge on AC units?? No, it looked professional with the name and is their right.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @imdoingitwrong says:

You might find it useful to use a DADE (Dust And Debris Eliminator) when drilling holes from below.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @ni_wink84 says:

Good lord turn your torches down ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚, copper doesnโ€™t need to be at melting point to braze, youโ€™re oxidizing the material

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @gabeplay8179 says:

Itโ€™s nice to see that the original has returned, and the imposter has left

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @HermesVintage says:

Not sure if it was mentioned and I missed it, but itโ€™s always best to watch the condensing unit pump down and adjust the LPS accordingly, especially with scrolls Are you in Orleans ?

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @Marius8 says:

no marking the pumped-down charge level today?

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @808jpm says:

I'm happy you started including your team subtly in your videos instead of hiding them. A nice balance of understated celebration of their work, team involvement, but not making it a big production show about them, still the inside Chris' brain show.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @bentlikeitsmaker says:

Always Interesting to see the Steps involved with Swapping Out the Equipment. Thanks for your Strong ๐Ÿ’ช Efforts recording the process. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™

Switched to Kramer few years back after having numerous issues with heatcraft. Even though itโ€™s basically a Russell I really like the Kramer stuff

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @davidathey7903 says:

I wish I had back ground music when I work! Nice.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @jasonjohnsonHVAC says:

A well oil team can make any job go a lot smoother and you can actually have fun while you are working. A cohesive team can also read what others are doing, know what still has to be done….and the install doesn't skip a beat. Im fortunate that i get along with everyone in our service department and we have fun while getting jobs handled and professionally done with minimal if any mistakes.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @bobchamp3159 says:

I like how you just ignored the frosted up return on the unit next to the one your fixing ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @Joe_From_IT says:

Great to watch someone who knows what theyโ€™re doing do things right. How much have you saved that customer over the lifetime of that equipment because you took the time to commission it correctly? Itโ€™s nice to see.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @_iLLuSiv3_ says:

That is a tidy-looking condenser, did you tidy it up or did it come like that? Looks very well laid out compared to some of the units I have bought in the past.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @christianlandry4499 says:

I don't know if it's just me.. But there's just something about brazing that I could watch for hours on end.

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @Laurelinad says:

how do you know you're in america? when they call that amount of beer "insane" amounts ๐Ÿ˜€ that's maybe enough for a 50-100 people party. wouldn't last for a "schรผtzenfest" even in our tiny village of 100 people ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ Service area Barrhaven??

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @tobimai4843 says:

Do you actually have a Gas/Oxygen warning device when you go into encolsed spaces, especially when using the torch? Or ar these ceilings open enough that that isn't a concern?

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @Uhh.thankyou says:

    great video

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @DrGreenGiant says:

Why is the name on the insulation an issue?

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @hungrynapps says:

That reason for not buying insulation.. seems a bit petty

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @solrac2156 says:

    What is considered bypass pressure?

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @ralphwoodard609 says:

Can you please properly learn how to solder joints and use half as much solder than what you were using now. Youโ€™ll be surprised how much cleaner and stronger the joint will be with less solder. just in case you forgot, you donโ€™t put the cider directly into the fire you do it on the opposite side of where you apply the heat. Did you notice how well done the solder joints are on the roof unit? That was either done by somebody that knew what they were doing or itโ€™s a factory job and thatโ€™s how they like it. That is the proper way to do it.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @simuler says:

Nice video as always Chris, idk why but the brazing parts are always my favorite. Also just bought a hoodie from your shop can't wait for it to arrive. Keep up the good work Chris.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @FREIGHTLINER66540 says:

why won't they use reciprocating compressors no more?

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @FREIGHTLINER66540 says:

    WHY R448A RUSSEL?!!
