Our Winter pool Kit's worth it. These kits usually come with extra supplies that you don't necessarily need. All you really need to close your pool is to properly balance your water, shock your pool, and add an algaecide. You likely already have the chemicals you need to balance and shock your pool.

All you need is a high quality 60 polyquat algaecide for winter. Finally, adding enzymes or a winter pill can also help break down organic contaminants in your pool water, but this is optional. Follow us at swim University for more pool care tips like this throughout the year.
