Hey guys if you've got a honeywell, t6 touchscreen lyric type thermostat and you need to connect it to the internet, but you need your mac id address. I'm going to show you how to find that right now, but before we get to that, if you love tacos, unicorns or chubby, guys that do heating and air videos, please click that subscribe button, alright guys! So we've got a honeywell t6 here, and this is again this is the lyric touch screen style. If you have the t6 with the buttons. This may not apply to yours.
So usually, when you get a wi-fi thermostat, the mac id and all the information you need is on a little slip of paper in the box, but if you've lost that piece of paper or for some weird reason, if yours came without that slip of paper, then You will need to go in the thermostat or you can look on the back and get this information, but i just want to show you real quick. If you've got the t6 here, you can go to the menu and you can scroll over to your device info and then you can hit select and in there you can get your mac id ip address and so on. So all the information for your thermostat would be in there, including the firmware and so on um. So as i scroll through here, i'm going quickly because it's none of your business, what my mac id is but uh.
