Hey Pool Owners Here's the quickest way to raise the chlorine in your pool. If your free chlorine levels are less than one part per million where you're not getting a chlorine reading at all, it's time to shock your water. Use a chlorine shock like cow hypo shock to raise your free chlorine and remove any used up or combined chlorine from your pool. If a single dose of shock doesn't work, you may need to use a double or triple dose.

My pool is fresh water
What if I don't have a chlorine reading at all and I put 2 1/2 bags of shock in & I'm still not getting a chlorine reading. I only have a 18×48 above ground pool. I feel like that should be enough?
