I Recently did a video talking about a product that can extend the life of your heating and air system. If you haven't seen that video, I'm going to put a link to that right up here or down in the description, but in that video we talked about a product called Boost Juice. There's multiple products on the market that are comparable, but essentially they lubricate things like metering devices. they help the compressor run better, run quieter, and ultimately hopefully extend the life of your system.

In addition to that video. I Wanted to do this video talking about our store that we now have on our website new Hvacguide.com and if you go to the products section and then click our store, you'll be able to purchase Boost Juice directly from there. I Know a lot of you guys have said hey, I saw the video I can't find anywhere to buy it Now you'll be able to buy that. We've now got a store that you can purchase it yourself And what I love about that product and the one we're about to talk about is most of these are a little more user friendly.

You don't have to have any fancy tools any any big investment. Most of these you connect it, you push a button and it's in there. But I will preface and say that you if you don't know what you're doing, should get a professional to install these products just in case you don't want something to go wrong. And I would definitely say just as a disclaimer, definitely hire a pro if you don't know what you're doing I know that's one of the big you know things that we hear a lot of heating and air guys talk about.

They'll see a YouTube video where guys are talking about a product and homeowners are installing it themselves. I'm kind of on the fence a little bit I think there is some liability there. That's simply why I don't do YouTube videos on certain things. However, the same guys that have problems with some of those videos will watch another guy do a video that's supposed to be for pros and we all know that homeowners are watching those videos too.

So if you're a homeowner, a pro, wherever you'll be able to purchase these products from our store and get it shipped directly to you. Now to what we're going to talk about in this video, which is a couple other products that we've added to the store recently made by the same company as the company that makes Boost Juice now I Think the parent companies Diverse Attack. They also have this brand or line of products under the Mastercare brand name. but most of these products that we're going to talk about right now are all the same.

sort of connected to your heating and air system. Push a button and the product is in the system unlike again, some of the other products out there. One of the products that we have in our store right now is a leak sealant product. You'll be able to add it to the heating and air system and the idea is it's sort of like fix a flat for a tire.

you where you have a small leak in that tire. You add the product and it's supposed to stop that leak without having to do any crazy you know, tire changing or plugging or anything like that. and the product is meant to stop that leak in the same fashion. This leak seal product that we have it's called Flex Inject Sealant Advan Advanced Leak Sealant and I only use this product if the system is not under warranty.
The customer knows it's probably getting close to time to replace the system and they are just trying to get a little more life at it. And the leak is small if you have a large leak, if you're having to add refrigerant to that system every month or so every few months, if it's you know within a 12 month period, you're having to add refrigerant to that system, the leak is probably too big. I'm talking about those systems that it seems like every year you have to add a pound or two of refrigerant. a whole year will go by and it's just a small leak.

And you know, maybe it's a little hard to find and you can't quite find it, which we're going to talk about in just a second. Another product that we have in our store that will help you find those pesky small leaks. But this product again. you can add it to the system.

It may or may not work, but the hope and dream is if it does work, you'll be able to add it to that system, get a little more life out of of that system, and not have to continue to dump money. Some refrigerants are getting quite pricey. You know when you're talking about 100 200 a pound for certain refrigerants and then you start talking about 10 pounds, 15 pounds? Some of these systems hold. that really adds up.

and if you're able to add a product like this to stop that, stop the bleeding, then maybe just maybe it'll be worth it. And to piggyback off of that. I Told you about a product that we now have in our store that you'll be able to find those pesky leaks and that is the same product. It still has the leak seal properties, hopefully to stop that leak, but if it is a larger leak and it's too big for that leak seal to actually stop the leak.

this product also has a UV dye in the product, so that way if that does leak out again, you'll be able to hopefully find that leak easily. And I've done other videos where we've talked about this. There's sniffers on the market that you can find refrigerant leaks there's you know, nitrogen pressure tests you can do. but this is one of the ways that even if it's the tiniest little leak, you should be able to get in there with a UV light and find that die where it's leaked out and find that leak so you can go with a more permanent fix.

So if you've got one of those systems that just kind of got a pesky leak and seems like you know, nobody can seem to find it or even have the motivation to find it. if you don't have a good Heating and Air company that's taking the time to use the right tools and find that leak and get it repaired permanently, this might be a way that you can find that leak. even that. Pro Or somebody get in there with a light and find that leak and make a permanent fix.
We've got a few other products in our store, but that's the highlights. I Wanted to touch on those. If you go to new Hvacguide.com click on products and then click on our store, or you can just scroll all the way to the bottom and just click on our store, but these products will be offered. You can purchase them, have them shipped directly to you I Don't have any affiliate programs with any of these companies, we just we're offering it.

Do we make a little bit off of each one? Yes, but you'll be able to purchase it directly from our store and have it sent to you. And then finally, what are your thoughts? Do you hate some of these products? Are you one of those guys that you really don't want to be adding leak seal to there because of the problems that some of them have with metering devices and or even the compressor if it's not installed properly. Let us know about that down in the comments or have you had success for one of these products Adding them to your system? We'd love to hear about that. Please comment down below if you like this video I Think you'll like this one even more.

It's where I Talk about where you can find a good HVAC Contractor and ways to avoid bad ones. Thanks for watching. Please hit that subscribe button. We'll see you next time.

don't use fix a flat equivalent for a/c unless it's a old system not worth fixing properly as it may harden where it shouldn't and wreck the system. have the leak found and fixed properly!
all that normally belongs is refrigerant and oil

Question do you only do HVAC videos , would you do product reviews for other industries?

I have used Cliplight Super Seal Advanced 944KIT successfully to stop a leak in my hvac system. "Cliplight Super Seal Advanced 944KIT – Permanently Seals & Prevents Leaks in A/C & Refrigeration Systems – 1.5-5 TONS by Cliplight $64.99 on Amazon". I have a Trane XL 19i installed in 2007. I purchased a 10 year extended warranty and the Evaporator Coil was replaced twice while under warranty for leaks. 9 years into the extended warranty the symptoms returned. The technicians said no leak and I needed a new system (it was 9 years old). I have a thermo gun to read temps out of vents and in return vents. My usual OUT temp was 54-56 degrees and it had risen to in the 68 degrees. I know enough about HVAC to be dangerous but I had a class on ac systems while working for the phone company. I suspected the dealer and techs wanted to sell me a new system. After they topped of the R-22 I found the Cliplight product and installed it. It fixed my leak/leaks. That was in June 2016. There were a lot of negative comments stating it would lock up the compressor on Amazon but it has worked well for me.

Amazing information and very timely. My air conditioner wasn’t cooling like it should . four years ago the same thing happened and I had HVAC company come out and they said I had a leak so they did put more refrigerant in. two weeks ago same thing happened so I called the same company. He came out and checked it and said I had two options put more refrigerant in and hope it lasts another four years or replace the unit. I said let’s just try for four more years and he was fine with that. I feel like they’re a. very reputable company and honest and I love the information that you put out. I’ve saved everything so now with all the products that can be ordered from you. I am going to give this company your website website. I’m 76 and I am always worried about people taking advantage of us older ones I really enjoy all of your videos
