Should you drain your pool this winter? if you have a small Intex or inflatable pool, then it must be drained and stored in the off season. But if you have a permanent above ground pool or an INR pool, do not completely drain your pool. This could cause permanent damage to the frame and liner and the entire pool could shift or collapse. Plan to winterize your equipment and lines while leaving some water in the body of the pool itself.
